Maybe in Cambodia by now.
There was a guy on Thai visa a few years ago that had his car kidnapped by a relative that had gambling debts in Cambodia. He had to pay to get it back, also in Surin.

Cambodia is a huge market for stolen Thai vehicles.......Being so close to the border the vehicles are often already through the border before the vehicle is seen to be missing.A current board member on here from Nang Rang knows only too well as it happened to him.

Nook is correct on this. Chong Chom crossing allowes a borrowed motor bike to cross into Cambodia without the owner being present. Know of individuals that let their friends take their bikes to SR so taken a stollen truck or car across is no problem.

Thank you all for you tips.
Owner got his car back last night. Car was found in Buriram.
We have a good photo from these ass holes, who were involved in the case.
I'm not sure if we can publish the picture, it would be really good warning.
Do not make deals with these ass holes

The article that I saw was headlined "the bitch who stole my car". The car was hired by a Thai woman.

I appreciate confidentiality etc. but who stole the car (farang or Thai) and where are they from??????
This general information might greatly help other businesses by staying well clear of the perps.
