Title: BBQ's
Post by: JasonB on October 08, 2014, 05:35:16 PM
Found this link in another place for bbq's.They look really good and solid, and the prices don't seem to be way over the top as far as I can see.The top of the line one here would be about 40000Baht in Oz,so fairly comparable, just thought I'd throw in this link for those with an interest(like me) JasonB

A bit cheaper, we have cooked for ten people on Thai barbecues like these, we had 5 going at my wedding. TBH 300.- a piece.

The misses bought one of these for around 500 THB (around 80-100cm in Length) and it works perfectly.

Yeh,I put this link up mostly for people that wanted a serious BBQ for racks of ribs,or large steaks,or bbq for pork roasts under a hood etc,as up until now they have been dear as poison in Thailand, but for smaller jobs I use the above examples myself.I just thought a better one with perhaps a rotary function, with a hood pretty much negates having an oven in the Baan, and you can still have the charcoal base to add flavour.

I personally am looking at Quick Fire.

Yes, a little more expensive, but can be tailored to your needs.

Love to own one of those that JasonB posted, but a- I doubt the misses agrees and b- I don't think it will last long with the Family around ;)
