Hi,
brand new member here.
Currently living in Pattaya (for 6 years already) but (I hope) soon to be moving to Buriram Province (Amphoe Krasang to be precise near Lam Duan) .
We are in the process of either buy a new piece of land to build on or build on land we bought previously.
Hope to learn a lot from you guyz.
Thanks
Mike

Best of luck to you. My recommendation is to get a trail bike and ride the area.

Welcome Mike.
What made you move from Pattaya ?

I would add, rent somewhere for 6 months to make sure you are comfortable with the area.

Welcome Mike
We live close to there. New neighbors always welcome!

welcome Mike
Got a couple of good watering holes in Krasang and a few good fellow expats too there.

Welcome Mike! It's a great area to live, and half the price on many things compared to Pattaya.A lot of good people here,so ask anything you might want to know.

I don't think it's half price on the everyday life, sometimes even the opposite or the same..
The difference is that there are much less distructions and things that you would like to spend money here... Guys, tell us if you are things differently.

Hi Guys,

I am not that good on a Bike rather do it with my 4x4 ;) And with the Potholes there that is necessary :D

The Hustle and Bustle is getting to me, not going out that much anymore so, and we are spending more and more time up there. So I know the area (even start remembering the names of the Villages on the way) and I lived there before, shorter stints only 1-2 months at a time), so the Rent Thing is not necessary.
The only real thing what I am going to miss is good Internet, but I have seen last time I was up there, I can get TOT WiNet in, and hopefully that will work, else AIS or DTAC will get rich (by keep topping up my 3G )

For me it's the other way around (Pattaya is cheaper :D). Just kiddin'. But for me it depends where you do your shopping.
Thanks again Guyz.
