Title: a normal street car - in DIESEL????
Post by: Rolando on August 12, 2014, 05:24:39 PM
I have a big Problem. I would like to buy a new car, a normal street car... but a Diesel, not a Petrol one. Via Internet, I could not find one by Toyota or Nissan, only SUVs. The only car I found is the Chevrolet Cruze. Does anybody of you know another diesel-car?

BMW & Merc do them but not too sure about the smaller brands like Proton/Kia etc.

Hi,
apart the cruze there are no diesel sedans, if you exclude the imported cars with their hight prices taxed. if you do not want the tank for lpg / ngv the alternative to diesel is gasoline E85 cheaper than diesel (25 B / l).

E85 is in all news PTT station, from bkk to buriram about every 50 km, so not too far, in any case of really emergency, can use  E20.
The new jazz and new city are ready for use E85, or can modify every injection cars with about 10,000 b (in some case cheper). If u have time, can take a round of showrooms and ask.
