Might as well just get used to it.. The carnage on the roads here will never end, at least not anytime in our life time.. The driving habits coupled with the corruption and the lack of law enforcement will cost many lives over the coming years.. All any of us can do is to drive as safely as we can and hope that we don't wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time.. Kind of like the gun control thing in the US.. The local citizens (the good guys) will never give up their guns as long as the US govt continues to sell guns to all the bad guys and, along with Russia, continues to be the arms merchant for the world...

These idiots driving buses along with the majority of Thai drivers just cannot comprehend that a road surface is going to be like driving on ice when the 1st rains fall after several months of rubber being baked onto the surface!!
