Title: Too many birds
Post by: gaviolit on February 05, 2014, 12:06:57 PM

someone has the same problem?
I have my house (roof, gutters, garage etc.) invaded by hundreds of sparrows, apart from the annoying sound from 4 am, their faeces are carriers of diseases, especially for children.

how can I fix it?

thanks

You could always move.
Why not just take all the wildlife out of the countryside, then that way the Farang might be happy.
The Farang complain about the toads, the birds, the snakes, and 99.9% of them complain about the local Thai people.
Can't imagine why they come here in the first place.

in fact there are problems in the world well-reasoned bigger than mine, but luckily for me, I have to solve just this, and I do not think that I complained to another outside of the bird poop. So either you know better than me my problems are really a superior man, or you are too ignorant to give a sensible answer to someone who has just asked a question and then digress supporting others your problems.

Maybe if you had ask a sensible question, you would have received a sensible answer.
I have the same problem with the roof, and the guttering,so i simple covered the area with a fine net,it's not rocket science.

i think is not to difficolt to understand my question because i use a very basic english.
but,
maybe someone can have difficolt to understand, so i try to repeat more easy than i can:

I need a system to ensure that the sparrows perch on protruding parts, defecating everywhere.
Now, just to seem obnoxious, I ask you to avoid making unnecessary assumptions, and if anyone knows a way to break down the sparrows with distances one or substances purchased somewhere, if I may say it makes me a big favor.
I would like to point out that bird droppings carry diseases that would avoid my daughter.

It 's true that we are farang who complain about many things, but if we evolved 50 years before of the locals, there is a reason, and this is not to say that if we are to live here we regress, in fact we can apply the easy and basic rules that make us live better than in the countries of 'origin and even better than the locals.

Well, the use of the English language and the  logic of both parties needs to be analysed separately here. Get a cat or buy some netting to take care of your sparrow problem, if you really need to bring your daughter up in a sterile environment which I don't feel to be a good idea. Yes, it the white man's burden is a heavy one to carry, but one doesn't let the 'locals' know that we look down on them, does one?

Pay local Thai boys a baht for ever dead sparrow they kill at your home.
