For those in the know, there is a new housing development being planned, may have started ground breaking, close to where the new bus station is going to be built. Can anyone give me the name or any info on this? I can not find anything online. I appreciate the help. love5

New bus station? details please.

Should be by where they will build Robinsons, cross roads 226 and road to Nang Rong. Got name of Boonsiree? Any ideas? whistle

I think Boon Siri is the developer, but not much online about them either, as you know Thai does not translate to English well especially third or fourth hand. Seems it may be close to "I Q House" store.

OK, further research done, FB link here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.397252280324556.83337.129352563781197&type=1
This is for project 4, they are currently working on project 6. Any local info is greatly appreciated.

You are correct about the location, coming from Lamplaimat the bus station, and Robinsons , will be just past IQ house on the right hand side, the housing development is being built opposite and is already started, the land for the bus station is still being levelled.

Negative, will do this one in person if I do at all.

With regards to the new bus station, I believe it to be a station being built by Nakornchai Air bus company. All other routes will remain in the town.
Robinson's (rumoured) site is on the other side of the junction on the 226 heading towards Surin.

Thanks Starman. Information I have - through family fifth hand - is that they were relocating the bus station. I will try to keep up to date from information posted here and internet searches. Thanks again.

I always take Nakhonchai when I can so this would be good news for me as it is 8Km nearer to home. However one assumes, does one not, that a regular shuttle service to the railway station via the old bus station has been organised? Silly of me I know.

I wish they would pick up in Nang Rong OR Nong Ki,but alas they don't.

I have got drivers to drop me off near my home but not an easy task
-
nookie,
they pick up at the police station by Hokie in Nangrong. But unless you have one of their membership cards you have to buy the ticket in Buriram (F#*&%*g stupid I know)

I know they used too but do they still?

As far as i have heard yes and a couple of guy's have said they have seen a couple stopping there
-
Tickets can be bought online and by phone.
Payment can then be made at 7eleven or by ATM.
The receipt can then be used as proof of purchase when getting on the bus.

Its a certain one that seems to stop there nearly everyday around lunchtime but I've never seen anyone getting on it

Well you learn every day. When we asked about a membership card we weren't told about this, only about some miserable rebate on the fares. We will look into it again.
