The house we are building in Surin. Tricky build as the house takes up almost all of the land .It's a type of wrap around courtyard house .starting price around 4.8 mil but there will be lots of extras plunge pool steam room central air kitchens .The window glass in laminated 6mm green glass very costly unbreakable and cool.

When building must weigh cost of best material vs cost of basic material, and quality of construction. However, with local construction costs, I think I might shop around a bit. But anyone should do that anyway. I must say photos of previous homes are AMAZING.

That's very similar to the one recently built in Cham Ni for under 1.8 million - the only difference i can see is this house is quite small; therefore, the cost ratio per sq/mtr is very expensive. So going by my calculations - if you build a house in Surin (one of the poorest areas in Thailand) it costs more than Bangkok, Koh Samuai or even Phukhet. Somebody is laughing all the way to the golf course.
That's a fantastic price Andy.
Can you show us photo's or even better a plan?

Also included in the price there is a covered tiled patio at the rear ,plus a Balinese style entrance and front walls .
The house in total is almost a 1\4 of a Ria including the landscaped court yard .
I will add more detail in a week or so .
Thanks guys .

Alan I like what I see of what you have done in the past, when I build a new house next year I will be asking you guys for a quote, as I like the idea of a turn key operation that delivers quality. Seems that it may be worth paying a little extra to have some quality and not have the usual shit fight of local farmers building and not understanding what you want, or how much materials that you need.

Looks like a GREAT home. Certainly has AAC block walls and excellent green PVC water with a proper device to work with that sort of Green PVC. Please post updates.
