Title: Marriage

I recently went to renew my 1 year OA married to thai visa and was refused on the basis that the Hong Kong Marriage licence was unacceptable.  I now have a 1 year retrement O visa

The whole story is complicated so I will just ask one question can I get married here in Thailand to my existing Thai wife

Thanks   I just want a basic marriage not the full blown ceremony   Can I do that in Krasang at the local government offices

Yes at the Amphur office 100 baht. BUT you have to have Affirmation to Marry letter from your embassy in Bangkok. this letter then must be translated to Thai and filled with the MFA. Its not as screw up as it sounds. Your embassy can direct you or there is generally office by your embassy that can assist you for a fee.
