Monday, May 6 - Coronation Day Holiday. Immigration, all government offices and banks closed . Bars are opened.

Post by: gotlost on May 03, 2013, 07:46:54 AM: May 1 Is NOT a national holiday. Yes May 5 Sunday is Coronation Day but will be observed May 6. This means all Thai embassy's and consulates in neighboring countries will be closed. As for this past May 1 at KCI it was busy.

Like I said. The 1st of May is Labour Day. This is in recognition of general workers, not Governmental. Many people do have a holiday.
