Immigration closed Monday May 6..
Monday, May 6 - Coronation Day Holiday. Immigration, all government offices and banks closed . Bars are opened.

You've just saved me a wasted trip to Mukdahan.
Nice one.

Just to be accurate, 5th May is Coronation Day. As that is a Sunday then Monday 6th becomes a holiday.
-
I bet they had a quiet day last Wednesday.........most places were closed.

Indeed, 1st of May is Labour Day. This does not include, however, Government offices. Major p&%s up in my village.
-
May 1 Is NOT a national holiday. Yes May 5 Sunday is Coronation Day but will be observed May 6. This means all Thai embassy's and consulates in neighboring countries will be closed. As for this past May 1 at KCI it was busy.

Like I said. The 1st of May is Labour Day. This is in recognition of general workers, not Governmental. Many people do have a holiday.
