Note that there are 2 Driver's Lincenses, one for Car and the other for Motorcycles, recommend you get both.

You will need to go to the Police Station to get their form, and they will gladly take 200 baht from you.

Dependant on which office you use as to whether or not they accept a police letter.....Nang Rong insist on an Immigration letter

Well, if going to Buriram, they told me to go to the police station, but also said if I had a yellow book that would work.

I will defer to your expertise on Nang Rong.   If they accept documentation for such an unsavory charactor as yourself, it should also work for the rest of us.

Only if you give it to them. It is a free service. I was asked if I wanted to make a donation. I did, but not 200 baht. The donation I gave was fully satisfactory to them. As they say "up to you".

Indeed Buriram office are one of the only ones to accept a letter from the Police.

It should be noted that even if you live in Nang Rong, or any where else for that matter, you can still use the Buriram office.

Yup, I am currently in Sunny Michigan for a few days, then back to Redneck land.  Expect to be back in the LOS around mid month.

And I am right now (it is past 8 pm here) drinking some Woodchuck Hard Cider (Crisp), pretty good actually.

Also on this trip I've had:

Angry Orchard (trditional, Crisp, Ginger, and one other)
Red River Cider
Strongbow
And another brand that I forgot the name because I wanted too

So it has been good to sample the different ciders.
