Hello
Does anyone know somewhere in Buriram that sells McCormick's brand Italian Seasoning (in the red packaging)?
Big C doesn't seem to have any McCormick products. Taweekit has a few, but they don't have the Italian Seasoning.
If there's nowhere in Buriram, then does anyone know anywhere to get it in Surin for sure? I wouldn't want to make the bus trip unless it was for sure.
Thanks for any info.
Mitch

I was in Korat yesterday at market looking at the stuff, I was amazed at the amount of McCormick spices there. However, I don't use Italian seasoning so I could not tell you it was there.
What I do like is wine vinegar. In Taweekit it is 264 baht, in this place it is 169 baht. So I bought several. Also a small cider vinegar was 128, but the large is 188 (useful for rib marinade).
I will be going back there next month and check on it if you want?

BTW, I am headed to the USA soon, will be back here mid May, I would have room in my baggage for a bottle or 2.

Keith you remind me somewhat of another American guy who opened a bar/restaurant in Song Saeng a couple of years ago(needless to say its no longer open)....He seemed to think everyone would like smoked streaky bacon hence he saw a special deal & bought 36kgs of the stuff.I guess he still has a load of it in his freezer!

LOL, I have 2 1/2 bottles of the wine vinegar, and a large bottle of cider vinegar (plus an almost empty little bottle). yum1 None is for sale by me, and I don't try to inflict the stuff on the locals.
Not much overstockage to me. However, my main point in the posting was that this Korat market had much better prices than Buriram, so Korat may be a better option to check as opposed to Surin, even though it is twice the distance.

Thank you, Urleft! A contacted a friend in Bangkok who found some at Tops and will bring it up soon. But very kind of you to offer, and interesting info on Korat.
