Need to add a sentence:
Expect to see vehicles (especially motorcycles) driving toward you on the far left side of the roadway.

you aren't allowed to have a machine gun turret in the back of your  truck.

But, using an Uzi from a motorbike or an auto is permissible, if you are Thai.
 
Other 'road hazards' to be aware of:  motorcycle passenger unknowingly giving birth while in traffic and the newborn falling to the pavement as the mom didn't know she was pregnant; motorbike handbag snatchers operating at high speed while dodging in and out of traffic, typically driving against the flow of traffic.
