What are Assault Weapons?
I have tried to educate people here, but I am interested in what people still think Assualt Weapons are capable of, and what they thought before I provided the facts.

As usual, a misleading post.
As pictured, they would not work in an AR-15. Those look like ammo for a SAW.

Also read Blackhawk Down, when a Delta Force guy came to the realization that a 5.56mm (AR-15 round) was almost worthless and the guy that carried a 7.62 was a genius.

Obviously you are an idiot Toffo. The rounds as depicted would not work in an AR-15. The AR-15 takes individual rounds, not linked rounds as shown in your picture.
I have worked with (and personally fired) weapons that take linked rounds M60, Browing .50 Cal, and SAW. I have also personally fired M-16s and M4s (military version of AR 15s). You have to delink the rounds before they would work in an AR-15.
Even though the guy was banned, he was right about one thing, do not use wikipedia as a source if you want authoritive information.

As I said earlier Toffo, you are an idiot. Do not try to argue facts with someone that has been there using leftest information.
Yes, a 5.56 will work, but not with the stupid picture you provided.
