Title: 90 day report away from Home
Post by: sao baht on December 26, 2012, 07:43:09 PM
My 90 day report is due on 2nd February .I know you can do the 90 day report 14 days before and up the 7 after but I am planning on staying in Pattaya from 15th of January until the 12th of February .
I assume I can do my 90 day report at Chonburi Immigration Office Pattaya but when I fill in my TM47 what address do I use.???
My Surin address or the apartment I am staying in at Pattaya and if the later will I need the apartment blue house book ???

You do chop and change frequently sao baht.

Thought you were considering a quick hop over to Angkor Wat 28th jan, now you are no doubt fixing Soi 6 appointments for the same period.

A trip over the border would obviate the need (and likely problems) associated with your 90 day reporting.

Just testing the waters for a trip later this year.
CoCo has already posted the may be able to include me on a trip and find me accommodation to suit my budget.
I would be more that happy to pay for the Mini-Bus ride and find my own accommodation on arrival .
If there was empty seat on the Mini-Bus then it could suit all those involved. thumbup

I may have to ask the above question on TV, seems to be no visa experts on BE  :(

You can do your 90 day report at any office in Thailand.....If you use Pattaya just be aware that they require copies of your housebook from Surin, your pic page from passport, current visa & the TM card thats stapledto it.

Not all immigration offices will take your 90 day report if your out of area. Some do and some don't. If Pattaya does your ok. Kap Choeng Immigration does not except mail in and if your residence is Surin or Buriram you''ll have to report or pay a fine.

Trust me. You will be fine :)

I have done it many times away from Buriram. (90 day reporting)

Take all docs as suggested just to make sure. They may not all be needed, but then you never know.

On one occasion only passport info page required. Another time, everything as nookie says above.

Please post your experience on your return:)

I will  smilenod

But as I have posted on TV after some of the weird replies I've had on there ........

So what happens if you're on a Retirement Visa and you don't like to stay in the same place all the time and prefer to travel around the country spending a month here and a month there. Surely there must be a standard procedure for 90 day reporting for those on the move.?
What about those living here that have 2 or 3 properties and like to live in different area's at different times of the year .?
What do these people do ?

Most of us know about Visa's and extensions but 90 day reporting is something I have never though about until my situation arose ???

I don't think  showing your place of abode as a soi 6 bar would go down too well with Immigration sao baht! Use your Surin address and say you are holidaying in wonderful Pattaya!

First time I did a 90 day report away from Buriram I wrote my Buriram address on the TM 47.

Immigration officer said "NO" Must be where you are on the day

As you can tell form my posts on your Siem Reap thread Nick,I am a bargin hunter. smilenod

Soi 6 if far to pricey for me. Now many ladies have my phone number and when they know I'm in Pattaya they are more than happy to go for Noodle Soup and spend the night with me for far less then the good ladies of Soi 6 would charge  thumbup
