I bet the ants are having a ball !!  I've got a nice big sirloin steak nearly defrosted on the kitchen bench. House gets hot quick when the aircon goes off !!

Perhaps the Mayans got it right, then - albeit 1 hour early!

Pesky Mayans !!

I was thinking it's probably the guy in the house next door putting too many coins into his vibrating bed !!

Young Thai guy living with 2 drop dead gorgeous women.

I think he's doing just fine ... judging by the "happy" noises coming frequently from his place.

I don't speak much Thai ... but I recognise the Universal moans of a satisfied happy campers.

On the money sao baht ... laptop

The world is a happy place again ... power restored quickly last night. Stick that up your arse Mayans !!

I did take your advice Nick ... went next door to see if the guy was ok ?

... thought I might be able to assist if things got "hard" ?

Make sure he had enough change for his vibrating bed ?

You know ... neighbourly stuff.

How do you say "fcuk off ...  I busy ..."   in Thai ?

For the Thai talker

Khao mâi yûng ràwk.  Dtàe chák wâo thâo-nán.

เขา ไม่ ยุ่ง หรอก แต่ ชักว่าว เท่านั้น

Busy adj. - ยุ่ง - yûng

Thanks sao baht.  I think ?  Looks all Greek to me !!

To me it looks like

"do you have a battery that will fit a VZ Commodore... ??"

Notice how I cleverly bought Co-Co back into the thread.

I'm actually not doing too bad learning Thai ... but it's like pushing shit uphill. Little bits stick ok, but most of it rolls back down again.

I'm still learning English after 59 years. Aussie was a snap. Had that drilled by age 3
