It is OK postings links but, when the text is so small,it may help debate if it was posted in full:-

Cabinet increases excise tax on tobacco Bt6-8/pack; on under 80 degree alcoholic drinks by Bt120/litre; on imported alcoholic beverage by Bt400/litre; effective today


Are those numbers REALLY increases ?    400 Baht INCREASE in duty ?


I am pleased to be going to Cambodia shortly and wouldn't be surprised if DJ came along for his fags !!

Just got a supply of 5 cartons LM red at 150 baht, 4 Jack Daniels at 740, 2 Swing at 940, 2 Black at 860, 2 Chivas at 880, 1 Jamesons at 440 ... and I've forgotten the price of the Campari and the Pernod ... I'm set for a few "weeks" ...

Try Cat Brand rolling tobacco (Tra Meow). Still only 5 Baht per pack. And it comes with its own papers!

I have tried this one before....Should come with its own resuscitator as well.
