Title: Buriram Train Station
Post by: minkw on July 04, 2012, 02:26:58 PM: HI, I am planning of getting the overnight train 67 from bangkok to Buriram, this arrives into Buriram at 3:40am in the morning, just wondering at this time will their be taxi's or transport available at this time of the morning at the train station?? we are looking at then going to Satuek!

But good luck in making sure you get off at the right stop. The trains are not alway precise on their times. And if they called out the Buriram train station when I arrived by train I didn't hear it.

As Anyone will inform you who has lived and traveled here in Thailand for any length of time the transport system never sleeps ,there's always plenty of it whatever time you arrive at a bus or train station ,Prakonchai bus station being a prime example ,any way glad you got sorted out . :)

Yeah Makman, sound advice, but the time factor is somewhat of a problem here , although he could ask them the normal price for a Tuk tuk to avoid being ripped off as Nookie advised if they cannot meet him :)

They could be waiting around for some time,,,,Iremember using the overnight sleeper up to Udon a few times several years ago,it was never less than 1 hour late!

It is in the bus station but I think you can call them anytime.

What I do is ring the wife when I get about 30 minutes from the station. As you say NB they are never on time :)
