See the sunrise from a different perspective by heading up to the Shiva ruin of Prasat Phanom Rung in Buri Ram province on April 3 and watching as the sun casts its rays perfectly through the 15 doorways of the 75 metre-long corridors. The morning sun, it's observed, illuminates Shiva lingam. Dedicated to Hindu god Shiva, Prasat Phanom Rung is an ancientKhmerstyled temple located on top of an extinct volcano in Thailand's Northeast.
