As we've exhausted the Surin possibilities, seeking orchid nurseries [not exclusive] in Buriram and Korat with a wider alternative variety....
In particular, we're attempting to secure more "Burmese" variations.
Thanks in advance.

Try going to the Burmese border

Jeff, it'd be worth a trip to Chiangmai and the Mae Sa Valley, where there are numerous orchid nurseries. Mae Sot, as Nookie suggests, is another possibility.

Not a bad idea, Birdy.
I've browsed those numerous nurseries [CM] in the past...and they will send them directly to your home [surcharge].
Mrs. Ted & I need a little getaway anyway. spot1

Its not too expensive to have them come down by bus...I see a Ubon -Chang Mai bus quite often passing thro Nong Ki...I would guess there is only 1 per day.....3 or 4 a day go out of Korat.

NCA have 6 buses per day Chiang Mai to Ubon. These buses stop in Buriram and Surin.
