Hi Joe,

There are some resorts/hotels in Ban Kruat so I suggest you stay in one of these places first and when you arrive to the area ask the locals.

Maybe one of our members have some property in Ban kruat for rent? If so you will get replies here or by PM (personal message).

Good luck. :) sawadi

Hey,

I'm actually already here :)

Been staying in a resort for almost a week, now staying with my Thai girls family... it's been 2 nights and I quite enjoy it. Only annoying thing is I'm having to use the Internet through my iPhone on AIS.. and it's really slow.

I think you're right about asking locals etc... will ask around!

Thanks.

If you want to get rid of AIS once you move to Ban Kruat, make sure the home you are going to rent is within TOT phone line coverage / already has telephone line. There are no new phone numbers left in this area but you can still get ADSL over telephone line with Virtual circuiting (Your number starts with Y44******). That would be my first in checklist before renting a home.

350 Baht a night x 31  =  10,850 Baht.

You can rent a mansion for that......

That's what I thought, 10,000 Baht a month in Ban Kruat?!! You should at least negotiate a monthly rate. :)

You won't find a decent room, with a shared swimming pool in Ban Kruat for less than 350 Baht.

Plus, why pay for a month if I'm considering moving into a house ASAP..

I'm also occasionally staying with my Thai girls family when her house has no family over (they're obviously over for NYE).. hence me being in a hotel at the moment.

well said Ted - but as CoCo said in an earlier thread, he is not about to make any New year resolutions - so it is "business" as usual!

That avatar rings a bell. It was used by a banned member here, me thinks?

They'll always be those who find it necessary to stir up trouble - or if they can't find it, create conspiracies.

Of the numerous forums available, there might be the same regarding avs.
They're so interchangable.

Might be amusing to have a Trade Off Avatar Day.

I believe Noddy got a few days ban in the past when he was Dave the Dude for posting avatars that he shouldn't have ,then he has the front to have a go at you Ted.
Do as I say and not as I do...should be Nobby's Signature
