so why not vote other.
as a matter of interest where would you choose?

If I was a single man I would quite like to explore more of Laos.
As it stands now things are good right here.

Just for you Jonesy I have voted.
If my circumstances change can I vote again?

Other - I would be content to travel around, with no fixed base.
Home is where the heart is :)
(which if given that option Steve would probably have voted for it).

that's because it would come under ANY EUROPEAN COUNTRY brick1

I also went with "Other", have to agree with CoffeeCorner. I might want many places to hang my hat if money was no object, but I like to see and visit so much I can't picture myself tied down in just one place. party8

I'm happy living in Nongki with my family and money wouldn't change that.

If I'd gone to Cambodia before Thailand 25 years ago, I probably would not be here now!
Good food, good beer and good women!

As one who has been to 38 countries and lived in many including a very enjoyable time in Oman for 5 years and contrastingly several years in Norway it may appear an easy choice! I spent most of last year in Australia in every State except NT. I love Queensland but for many reasons I just couldn't live in Oz! I work in, amongst other places, Papua New Guinea. It's quite basic, very beautiful but live there..mmm no way.
I have chosen to live in Thailand because my Thai wife wanted to do so. We could have lived in UK and many Thai's we meet would like that but she's sensible enough to see beyond the gloss! Nowhere is perfect, but here, in this part of Thailand I am at peace, relaxed and enjoy my life, the people are friendly and we have true, great friends. Until I see somewhere else this is my little paradise! I respect it may not be the same reason why other ended up here by I chose to come here as my wife's family are here. I said I'd look and see, I have and I'm happy!

I doubt I would settle for any particular place, if I had the money I would probably own various houses all across the globe, and sort of live here and there and explore the area/country for a while.
-
I would like to live at any places in United Kingdom with my family. :)
-
The more I go the more I am convinced Cambodia is the place to be.

How sad that you can choose anywhere in the world, but you choose that hole in the ground.

Being one of many on here that have left the UK, I can only agree with your view Skip.
