Wow, this really is a new site.
As a Buriramite living in between Prakhon Chai and Prasat, well I just offer by best wishes to the site host and hope that you receive the support of the local Buriram expat's..............best of luck and I hope to be an active participant in its growth......... 8)

Thank you very much, I hope to see more people join to our Buriram forum and share information and knowledge in the forum.
Many thanks.
-
Hi Ray, and everyone else.
-
Hi Theddeus, thank you for joining.. :)
-
Hope this site takes off. There are many of us in the area, so it's down to us to ensure that it does.
-
I will improve the website of course.. it will take me few days but still the important thing that we can all chat and exchage information here in the forum.
Any suggestments and ideas for the website are welcome !! :)
-
Best of luck to your new Site, Where are you Mac, Hello Rayban and Thaddeus .
-
This is great! I hope it all works out for us and as HappyinIsaan says: It's up to us to get it going. Anyway, congratulations on the new Buriram site just for Buriram.
-
Best of luck to your new Site, Where are you Mac, Hello Rayban and Thaddeus .
Hi there..... if you mean Macb, he has relocated out of the area.
-
Hi Thad, great to see you still surfing out of Buriram after your recent hiccup. I hope this site attracts the local guys...............no disrespect to TV, which has been a great target for us, but a true Buriram site is something that most of us Bum's have desired for a long time, let's get stuck in and support the host for taking the time to create such.
I also have my own website, directed mainly at my family back in UK.............it takes a lot of personal time and dedication to put something like this together. So fellow BUM's..............spread the word and let's get all the support these efforts deserve................................ 8)

Hi Thad, great to see you still surfing out of Buriram after your recent hiccup.
Even if it came to that Ray, you could take the Thad out of Buriram, but you could never take the Buriram out of Thad.
This has been my home for three years now and my adventure playground for a little longer..... I love this little part of the world. If anything forces me to leave, be it, finances, relationships or Immigration........ I'll go, but it will be kicking and screaming...... and I really don't want to have to learn Khmen ;)

Hi guys,
I have been visiting Buriram for about 7 years now and I am looking to put down
roots in the area as soon as finances allow. I think it is great that somebody has
started a forum specifically for Buriram as I am always looking for advice specific
to the area. This is particularly refreshing as most threads posted on the other
forums seem to degenerate into personal battles / slanging matches between a
hard core of embittered posters.
lets hope we can keep this forum fresh and helpful so that it can become a genuine
source of advice, as well as a bit of fun . !!
-
I agree with you 100% , Its very hard to find source of information that really focus on our area and with the growing community of farangs "expats" its very important.
I'll be around guys, see you soon.

Good to see this forum up and running.
We live in a small village 14 kms from Lam Plai Mat and go to BR regularly shopping.
Been here for some years, built a nice house 4 years ago and enjoy village life very much.
We own a lot of farmland including about 50 rai of riceland, 2 fresh water dams and also dryland farmland. My wife and i are humanitarian aid workers and have just completed a 3 year contract on tsunami reconstruction work in Aceh,Sumatra.
Look forward to contributing to engineering and building construction and Agriculture subjects.
Greetings to all.

Thanks for taking the time to make and maintain this site. I've been living near Prakhonchai for eight years now, I sure could have used this resource when I first arrived! Upcountry was a shock after five years in Phuket.
I look forward to joining in discussions and perhaps meeting some new people.
Cheers
Steve
