Title: Thailand Cambodia border???

Hi guys i recently spoke to a friend who lives in Ban Dan District and mentioned my visa run every two months to the cambodian border from Mueang Buriram/Nong ki (dont know where ill be staying yet) the response was "oh no thailand cambodia have problem at moment" i have heard a little about this problem but im just wondering if anyone knows much about it? am i gonna be looking at Laos runs every 2 months?

The borders are now open as usual and border runs are being done at Chon Chom every day.
