Was having a chat and a slurp in a cheap charlie watering hole a fellow customer pointed out that certain aliens had stated Buriram was there town and strangers where not welcome which seemed odd to me as they are not even thai. Some of these aliens dont even live here full time and the ones that do are stuck and cant go anywhere else anyway, SO ANYWAY WHOS BURIRAM IS IT any ideas on this one.

Who were these aliens ?
-
White folk
-
90% of Buriram is owned by the Chinese, so I guess it's theirs if this is a democracy. Think those aliens better go back to their planet. buttslap

To quote your phrase, maybe the mugs in the cheap charlie watering hole spend too much time looking at the world through the bottom of their beer glasses and they are best ignored.
I was once told the world was flat by a guy in a bar on Soi 6. Is that not true, then???

so, the question: is buriram for sale?
-
If it was they would not have the money but they would lick the ass of the ones that can and i here they are doing that already, like they give a shit about them.

In America, we have the golden rule: "He with Gold, Rules."
I think Thailand is a lot like that. So for the right gold, yes Buriram is for sale.

For the second time in a week I agree with Den Buut.
I know I am generalising, but I have found that a lot of the businesses in Buriram are Chinese (or SinoThai) owned. They seem to own the businesses but I have been told that for some reason they usually mortgage their homes (eventhough some don't need to) and lease their cars rather than buy them outright. I have always wondered if there is something they know that we don't on those fronts.

That's not generalising, facts are facts. In many stores there is an ugly old pale looking woman sitting in the back counting money.
