Title: Moving to Buriram

Hi, Im planning to move to Buriram, Krasang, Chomseang, and just want to know if there is some expats (on this forum) around this area.
Origin sweden, in my 20ths and  like to have a drink.

I don't know if there are expats living in your area but surely there are Scandinavian expats in Buriram area.
You will find Buriram interesting place to be and there is quiet big expat community in Buriram town area.

Hope all goes well with your move. Krasang has quite a few farangs of varied nationalities there and I have met some good guys in the couple of 'watering holes.'
There are a few nice restaurants that cater for farangs but only one real Bar there.

Its only a 15 minute drive to Surin (where I live) and Buriram is not that far away either, so you will have a good variety of places to explore.

Hej Virre !

You better check with the guys on the Swedish forum Maipenrai.se. The administrator (owner) lives as far as I know permanently in a village just outside Surin town and has a lot of knowledge. Myself (age 69) I live in the northernmost district of Buriram and we usually go to town for shopping once a month. Not very much of a drinking companjon. You should try the Muang Pizzeria. I drop in there now and then. Very good pizza, spagetti, lasagne and more !
You did not say how long you plan to stay and what you plan to do here.  Are you going to stay in a village or in the district center ? buttslap Ve are all very nosey on this forum (byskvaller) so please tell us more  welcome1

Im planning to stay for at least 3 years. Have been to buriram before. Both mueng and in a village.
Im not up to anything special while Im there, thats why it could be nice with some friends.
