Cold? When? A blanket at night, maybe, but it's not exactly cold in the daytime.

The car is telling me it's -8 oC outside now...........can't wait to experience some of that cold LOS weather in a couple of days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are talking about Thai people here. They do feel the cold at higher temperatures than westerners.
I have been here for over 13 years now and I can tell you that I will be wearing a coat during the day in December and January.

I grew up on the east coast of USA and I have travelled a lot, although it has been a half century since I have spent any time in the UK. If you are Brit, think Midalnds in mid-April or late September without the dampness. If you are American, think New York during the same periods. A sweater or jeans jacket in the morning or late evening in Issan on a motorbike @60kmph does it for me.
