Title: Kao Phanom Rung
Post by: Prakhonchai Nick on December 22, 2008, 05:14:54 PM
I have just been told that admission prices to Phanom Rung have increased to 20bt for Thais (formerly 10bt) and 100bt or farangs (40bt)

Considering the government are proposing spending millions to woo back the tourists after the Suvanabhumi debacle, this would seem to be a rather odd (but nevertheless typical) Thai move.

An expat friend who went last week, with his family holidaying here from overseas. Entry cost him 800bt+ for the family for less than 1 hour. Apparently a double entry ticket (including Muang Tham) is also available at a very slight discount.
