Savannakhet Laos, Tourist Visa. Double entry possible?

I read not so long time ago it is possible to issue in Thai consulate in Savannakhet Laos, a SINGLE ENTRY TOURIST VISA only!

It was advised to go to Vientiane Laos if want to issue double entries tourist visa.

lately I hear its not like this anymore and Thai consulate in Savannakhet is already issuing double entries tourist visas. Is that true? Any personal experience there recently?

as far as I know, Savanakhet USUALLY issuing single entry toursit visa only.
This may have changed and are more flexible to help tourism in Thailand.
Direct call to the Thai consulate in Laos must be made prior your visa run to clarify this issue.

Until recently they were issuing triple entries,,,but as the free period is getting shorter they are now only double entry,,,A German guy got a triple entry ,I saw it with my own eyes
