Title: Upcoming Events Listings
Post by: Boundstone on October 08, 2010, 04:07:18 PM
Hi BE

Just wondered if there was an area on BE that shows up and coming events, like shows, fete's, fairs, parties, Theatrical displays , you know fun stuff. I noticed someone had put a video of the Light and sound show at Phunem rung castle( possibly spelt wrong by me) but they did not say when it happens. Just thought that if there is not anything yet on here, maybe you could consider and area, maybe even allow people to chat and organise events in the local areas, theres money in things like that lol........cheers peeps
I will wait for the stones to be thrown at me now stop1. lol knuppel2

Look on the website part for the toursit attractions of Buriram (Temples).
Phanom Rung Festival is held annually in April to commemorate the restoration of Phanom Rung. The activities include the procession up Phanom Rung hill , sound and light presentations and dances are performed. It also coincides with at sunrise usually , in the first week in April. A special occurrence happens when at dawn at a special moment the sun shines through the main corridor and produces and unique sight.

There is also the Phonom Rung Fun run ( mini-marathon ) held every year in December.
