Hotel close to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International airport.
If you are traveling and need hotel close to Bangkok international suvarnabhumi airport Thailand,
I recommend on this hotel,"The Great Residence" stayed there for a night and its very nice place with distance of only 10 minutes to the airport, located close to Lat Krabang road, where there are many restaurants and shopping centers, Karaokes for who like and the price was very good.
Internet service in place:
24 hours WiFi and Computers for internet use as well, 80Baht/hour.
*There is an internet place on Lat Krabang road only 5 minutes driving from the hotel, turn left in Lat Krabang and than again left, you'll see an Internet shop 15 Baht/hour.
Be aware prices are different/higher if you are not booking in advance via AGODA website:
http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/bangkok/great_residence_suvarnabhumi_hotel.html (http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/bangkok/great_residence_suvarnabhumi_hotel.html)
* Almost half price, costed me 600~ Baht. good price for this level of hotel/room in this location.
** There are loads of hotel in Lat Krabang but this one is the closest to the bridge entrance to the airport.
*** The only minus is that there is no elevator, only stairs but its only 4 floors and if you stay in 2nd/3rd floor its not a problem.

Had to seach your post, and finally figured out the Hotel name was The Great Residence confused1 by reading the name on the drink price list picture.
I have stayed twice at the Convienent Resort because the price included a free shuttle to and from the Airport. Back when PBR was flying I would time my flight to arrive in the evening and fly out at 11 am. Not as easy with Nok Air.
Can be checked out here: http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/bangkok/convenient_resort.html (http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/bangkok/convenient_resort.html)
About the same price, no elevator (4 floors) party13, and an unstocked refidgerator :(.
Overall I would be inclinded to try The Great Residence as there is basically nothing around the Convienent Resort for about a kilometer.

*I have Edited the original message to add hotel name.
There are restaurants close to there, but I agree with you its not close to Lat Krabang road unless you are in good shape.. (20 minutes walk). cool1
Free shuttle to and from the Airport is included.
I have seen the convenient resort and its a 10-15 minuted driving to the airport more than this one.
When I take hotel, I try to take the closest as possible that even if have traffic jam or just that I'll have more time to arrange myself before the trip.

both hotels are close to the airport, there are others in the area you can see if you click on the map in this agoda website. all hotels they have constracts with them of course. party5

I have booked Queens Garden Resort for my next overseas trip. Close to the airport. I did consider the Great residence, but found too many unfavourable reports.
I DO NOT use Agoda. Nearly always the most expensive (although look cheap initially as the taxes etc are added later.) I have found most times AtSiam are the cheapest - and you can transfer payment direct from a bank online or via ATM. No need for a credit card. www.atsiam.com (http://www.atsiam.com)

Thats a big plus for who don't have credit card.
*Most Thais and some foreigners living here have only debit card from the local Thai banks.

I favoured Queen's Garden Riverside over the Great Residence. I am staying there with the family in October for 1 night ahead of a 6am flight to Bali
