Hi all,
I think I already know the answer, but I will ask at least. Maybe you old stager have some ideas.
Well, I did not wrote "finding a job in Buriram" on purpose, as I am very sure there will by not way. A man of mid 30 how can he earn money in Buriram province? Selling something on a market, go farming, Teaching - for me German - Tourguide for Tourists, caretaker for other falangs, maybe with organizing let a house during absence, begging on the streets?
I have a few money left. So I could also invest a little.
Is there anything falangs have - beside our money we put aside - we could earn money?
I think that is an interesting - although hypothetical - question.

This may bring many answers. I have a friend who earns enough from his little convenience store to make a living. It took him at least three years before he could get by without using his capital. He will never get rich but he gets by with his wife and two school going children. If you have money to invest, there are many possibilities. The farang comunity is growing every day and to provide services aimed specifically at them may not be such a bad idea. Get in now and build infrastructure - later it may even pay off. I have my own ideas but I won't post them here. Someone might steal them!
With a Thai spouse, the possibilities get even better but beware, it could turn around and bite you.
