google translate is not 100 percent but you will get the drift
Buriram announced the closure of the city Screening people through every province via channels Stop all activities to support the flea market.
On March 16, Mr. Ne Win Chidchob posted a statement by Mr Thatchakon Hatthathayakun, Buriram governor. The case of the protection against the virus, Covid 19, with a message stating that the Buriram GU statement against COVID is to close the city for safety, to stop activities to prevent the spread of the sick, to separate the treatment.
"It hurts but the end of the house. GU must be safe. Who doesn't do it? GU makes Buriram to fight !!!!!" Ne Win said.
In the statement, there are details stating that from the severity of the outbreak of Covid 19, Buriram province. Therefore announcing measures to close the city with public health measures, screening for all those entering Buriram Whether foreign Or upcountry Including screening airports, railway stations, hotels, as well as monitoring systems for visitors for 14 days. In addition, all activities are closed, seminars, entertainment, tutorials, flea markets, if not able to stop, must notify the sheriff. Including the campaign Love father worried mother Do not walk during Songkran To stop Covid 19

My understanding was/is that it applies to the whole province of Buriram, and not just Buriram city. As normal, nothing is ever clear, and no doubt it will all totally or partly be rescinded later today!. Our neighbouring countries seem to do things properly.

Does anyone know if the Buriram Thai Immigration office is open tommorrow?

It appears to me that the word "lockdown" has caused pandemonium with some people.
It really is , at the moment, nothing near to a lockdown. Shops, bars, retaurants, schools, banks and government offices all open. People free to walk, ride and drive about Buriram as they please. The only issue is with gatherings of a certain size and anyone who enters Buriram from another province, region or country.
For those living in Buriram life goes on as per usual.
-
As Prackhonchai Nick hinted, piss ups and breweries spring to mind.
I was amused to see that panic buying has started in the USA.
However, while in the UK and Austraiia the shelves have been stripped bare of Bog Rolls, in the US they are mobbing the gun shops.......
-
Here in Tako (Chaloem Phrase Kiat) two new monk ceremonies have been cancelled and the status of the biweekly market is uncertain.

We drove today from Krasang (very close to Surin) to Buriram and then went on to Satuek and then went back to our house (in Buriram Province) and we haven't seen anyone lockdown or police checkpoint on our whole trip. We were only asked in HomePro (Buriram) and Ruangsaengthai (Buriram) to use Hand sanitizers and even in some other stores (in Buriram) that wasn't even needed, so province lockdown, maybe but we haven't seen any evidence of that yet.
BUT If coming from other provinces to Buriram there could be Temperature checks (as I am told) but they are the same as going shopping in Makro!
Edit: On the way back the market in Ban Yang was in full swing
-
I too live in Amphur Krasang. Most of my life revolves around Surin not Buriram, so the restrictions on incoming to Buriram from another province are an issue for me.
As of now no checks / roadblocks on the 226 near the Surin 'border'.
Right now the wife is at a village meeting being addressed by a doctor/nurse on the virus and precautions to be taken

Police shot and killed a drug dealer near Big C in Buriram yesterday

I have to go into Korat on Fri. for some personal business, planning on returning the same day. I hope I don't run into a hassle on the way back.
I plan to bring my passport and of course Thai driver's license that shows my address here in Buriram city.
Anyone here think I might have any problems/issues? If so, any suggestions?
-
No idea @Hank Gunn, I am interested to know as well as my wife has a Doctor's appointment at the Bangkok Hospital Korat end of next week.

No idea @Hank Gunn, I am interested to know as well as my wife has a Doctor's appointment at the Bangkok Hospital Korat end of next week.
My trip is for an appt. at Bangkok Hospital as well. Plus, I have to get some meds that are only available at a pharmacy there (one I highly recommend by the way).
I'm 99% sure I'll forget to do this, but if I not I'll try to report my experience here when I get back.
-
Like others I went to Buriram this morning...same province. Saw nothing unusual. Makro took my temperature, and I helped myself to handgel on leaving (Didn't see much point on entering) Norte that Makro have discontinued the car parking tickets/cards

Pharmacy is Fascino by any chance?
Good Luck, and IMHO it won't be a big issue maybe only a roadblock with Temperature Checks
-
You will not have any problems.
If you do get stopped at a road block, there were not any in force at the Korat-Buriram border on route 24 as of Monday, you will be let through if no one is sick.
-
"Pharmacy is Fascino by any chance?"
Siam Pharmacy is the cheapest and best in Korat
-
Thanks Starman. I figure they?ll do the temp screening like at Makro.
As for the pharmacy I recommended, it is indeed Siam Pharmacy as jivvy mentions. Great prices, able to get/order more obscure medicines and excellent staff. Proprietoress (2nd gen owner?) speaks fluent English as do some of the other people.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand now requires all air passengers, Thai and foreign, to show Covid-19-free health certificates and Covid-19 insurance before boarding their flights to Thailand.
Airlines must require passengers to present health certificates issued no more than 72 hours before the flight departs. The certificates must guarantee that the passengers do not have Covid-19.
Airlines must also require that passengers have insurance covering Covid-19 treatment in Thailand, up to at least US$100,000. Passengers who fail to present the required documents must not be allowed to board their flight to Thailand.

Just which insurance company is going to give 3 million baht plus cover for Covid 19? In effect it means no foreigners will be allowed into Thailand.

My insurance I have from abroad is unlimited Coverage (no max cost price) so it's possible. And I asked, yes we are covered for Covid 19.
In their Coverage Summary it reads: Cost price means that we fully reimburse the costs.
All compensations apply per insured person, per insured year or per insured period if it is shorter than one
year. We will only reimburse the costs listed below if they are medically necessary.
The maximum that we reimburse is the amount that is approved by the official institutions in the country of origin where the medical treatment occurs.

Reading the comments on Thaivisa, the insurance is problem nr 2 but the major problem seems to be getting the Covid-19-free health certificates as No test kits seem available

The problem with insurance, will be for tourists applying for travel cover now, not those of us that have annual health insurance./

With thousands of potential cases of the virus worldwide, do you imagine for one moment that any insurer would provide cover for a disease that is spreading so rapidly. It would bankrupt them

Yeah you are right, but in Thailand there is one that has COVID 19 Insurance (max coverage 1 Million THB)

No travel insurance though

Going by the Thai Embassy in Canberra's website this new requirement takes effect at 00.00 on 22/03/2020. I fly in from Perth at 22.30 tonight, so while I have insurance, I won't need the certificate.

Post on Thai Visa says this
The Thai Embassy in Tokyo states this will be effective from the 21st of March with respect to the health certificate, but as of yet there is no stated date for the proof of insurance coverage.
And also this adds to the confusion
I just saw the news in Bangkok Post. They are doing a flip-flop again, it is not ALL nationality but just 15 countries that need Covid-19-free health certificates and Covid-19 insurance
Britain, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States in addition to China, South Korea, Italy, Iran
So IMHO it's everyone's guess and again depending on the Immigration officer at BKK Airport.

The insuraance cover appears to be only 50,000 bt or 100,000bt for treatment. 500,000 or 1 million baht would seem to be a payout upon death or almost death, but NOT treatment.

It says on the main page this
** illness with serious conditions or diseases caused by a corona virus infection. (Coronavirus (2019-nCoV))
Coverage 500k or 1 Million THB
**Any illnesses such as coma, brain and nervous system damage or disorders, terminal illness, and or death that is a direct result from the Coronavirus where a physician has determined that there is no cure for which has been caused by coronavirus (2019-nCoV) virus.
and
Medical treatment from infections (Coronavirus(2019-nCoV))
Coverage ฿50,000 or ฿100,000
But I could be wrong and I don't need it as we have full coverage already
-
Okay, I remembered. :)
Just got back from driving over to Korat for an appt. at Bangkok Hospital there, and to pick up some prescriptions at Siam Pharmacy. Very little police presence and absolutely not checkpoints as I half-expected on Hwy 24.
By the way, Siam Pharmacy has moved down the street from their old location (only about 60m) into a newer, larger building. If you're driving from the memorial park (memorial for the female warrior) you'd pass where the old location was on the left, and it's now at the next intersection on the right. (I still parked at the public lot, all of 10 baht, near the old location and walked over after my wife asked someone where it is.) Not easy to miss, as the building looks new/refurbished and has a large sign on the side.

thx @Hank Gunn for reporting back. Appreciated
But who knows what the situation is next week when we have to go :D
-

Indeed, things could change but my guess is the local constabulary are busy manning the airport, bus and train stations.
At the hospital last week they gave me and my wife the quick temperature check at the main entrance. Today, in addition to that, a woman asked me where I lived and where I?d come from. After telling her that I lived in Buriram and had been in the country for about a year (8 months actually since my last trip to the US) there was no problem. I had my passport on hand just in case.
I?d suggest bringing ID to show your residence here in Buriram (e.g. driver?s license) and your passport. If you have no exit/entrance stamps for the last six months or so, you should be okay. But you probably already knew that.
Good luck.
-
Picked up my 12 month Non O ext stamp today at Korat imm and no problems. Temp scan at the door and a blue sticker on my shirt.
In and out around 20 minutes.

The below link gives details about UK FCO travel guidance regarding insurance policies ,
www.abi.org.uk
it probably is the same for other countries that have advised against foreign travel.
Note that the UK FCO still does not advise against travel to Most parts of Thailand but the Covid 19 advice covers all international Travel from the UK.
Im going to get in touch with my insurers tomorrow to see if my policy still covers me .

This is Bob posting for Mr. Pichai. He has been at meetings with the Governor quite often as have many other Buriram Business owners. As of today March 23 we are open with all services including special orders, normal deliveries, Lazada shipments, repairs on at the store and plumbers at customer locations. Frankly the China situation has caused some brands who manufacture in China to cease deliveries, yet they all claim we will receive ordered goods. Brands with goods locally made or from countries other than China are on time with shipments. I will post on all social media should be ever become a "curbside pick up" or "delivery only" store. Right now it is busy (not crowded) in the store and slammed on deliveries. We do have proper hand washing sink station at the front door with a blow dryer and do check temperatures of staff and customers. I am keeping optimistic that we will remain open to serve customers as I would hate to see home building cease or water pumps not fixed. The store is open 7 days a week.
-
Good idea to check temperatures and to practice washing hands hygiene. Don't forget the toilets including the disabled toilet.

Covid-19: Foreigner fined 20K for breaking quarantine - health certificate didn't help him; Thais warned they are next
(https://assets.thaivisa.com/forum/uploads/monthly_2020_03/2pm.jpg.85f7ef4f342b601f413b2bd36a92e0d3.jpg)
The governor of Buriram province in north eastern Thailand announced that a foreign man back visiting his wife from one of the four countries on a risk list has been fined 20,000 baht for not properly quarantining for 14 days.
Even though the foreigner said he stayed in his rental car and had a health certificate from his country that didn't save him.
Now the governor and medical staff in the province have warned that Thais back from Bangkok - now considered a risky area itself - face 20,000 baht fines for not going into quarantine.
The foreigner in the Daily News story was not named and his nationality was not given - he was from either Italy, Iran, China or South Korea.
Residents of the Jira Nakhon housing estate had complained about the foreigner breaking quarantine after he arrived to visit his wife.
The foreigner accepted that he had been out but said he had not got out of the car.
The "Buriram Healthy Passport" application showed his movements.
Governor Thatchakorn Hatthathayakul said he arrived at Suvarnabhumi at 9am on the 19th of March.
He then went to Pattaya for a night where he rented a car.
Next day he left Pattaya at 6 am and drove to Buriram arriving at 1 pm. He stayed at the apartment of his wife.
He went out in the evenings and on the 22nd went out but did not get out of the car.
All this amounted to not following the terms of his quarantine. Even though he had a health certificate from the country where he began his journey that was not sufficient to save him from being fined 20,000 baht.
The governor said he was sorry to foreigners that these had to be his measures in the circumstances; people who own places like hotels who do not report quarantine infractions will be similarly fined.
He went further: Thais returning from Bangkok and surrounding provinces (known as Phuttamonthon) must observe a 14 day quarantine when going to Buriram or they too will be fined 20,000 baht.
Dr Withit Saritdeechaikul who was also present at the meeting at Muang Buriram police station echoed these statements.
He described Bangkok and surrounding areas as a danger area and people returning would be fined 20,000 baht for breaking quarantine under Article 34.
He further stressed that health certificates were of no use.
Thaivisa notes that tens of thousands of Thais and migrant workers have been leaving Bangkok - many on crowded buses and trains - after much of the city was effectively locked down.
The crowds have been heading for hometowns in the provinces and borders.

As I said on another forum, he should have been deported.

not Going to happen, Foreigners yes, Thais NO. Have already an example in our local village, Thai Woman came back from BKK recently and is just walking around the village with NO Mask and eating and drinking with the other locals in the local Shops!!

Very Good suggestion for even more cleaning of all the toilets. (Several times each day) Yes we are OPEN today and will do whatever to serve customers. The on line orders have shot up, and phone in orders have increased. I am delighted to say our long delayed order of Solar panels arrived this morning at the store in Buriram. We won't sell to other shops, only to our retail customers who are installing DC submersible well pumps, DC surface pumps, or solar power on a farm.I just took two phone orders from customers who have building projects in Udon and they will pick up building materials today at our store' Unfortunately it seems Global House, Thai Watsadu, Home Mart, Do Home are not open in Udon Thani. We are taking this day by day, yet there are options if in the future, the front door closes to be able to serve house builders, contractors and home owners in Buriram. Mr. Bob posting for Mr. Pichai.

Ruangsangthai Buriram Home Builders Merchants is OPEN March 25. This is Bob posting for Mr. Pichai. I have been told that the Buriram Thai Watsadu | Buriram Global House are temporarily closed. When I spoke this morning with Mr. Pichai he said it is "day by day" and he is in contact with Buriram Government officials. I am proud to say that the store staff are repairing water pumps and other critical machines. Plumbers are also installing and repairing solar DC Solar water pumps, Hot Water heaters, deep well submersible water pumps, surface water pumps and petrol water pumps each day we can remain open. If we are closed at the front gate later in the week, I will announce it on Buriram Expats. I realize people often drive a great distance to obtain tools and home building materials. Delivery might be an option as curbside pick up might be an option going forward. 061-028-9292 is a mobile number with English speaking staff you may call during normal store hours for any questions. If you come to the hardware store, staff will encourage you to wash your hands and will check your temperature.

That is it, the - final straw.
Closing the golf course was bad enough.
Now the devastating news about Prince Charles.
Apparently he is isolating in Windsor with COVID 19
Prince Andrew is in Balmoral with JENNIFER 15

Ruangsangthai Home Builders Merchants is fully staffed and OPEN today Saturday. Normal repair service, normal delivery services. Mr. Pichai encourages masks and of course a hand washing station at the front door. HomePro Buriram was open on Friday. London Steak offered in restaurant dining seating service on Friday, but well spaced out. Clayton told me they were not allowed to have diners in the two air conditioned rooms.
Amazon Coffee had in air conditioned dining, but only with to go cups on Friday in Ban Yang. No porcelain serving plates or coffee cups. Different locations different interpretations of guidelines for our safety. Plenty of swimming pool salt in stock and ready for delivery in Buriram.
-
All good info, but disappointing about London Steak, why are they open for in house dining when the state of emergency rules are very clear about restaurants? The Baht over health I'm guessing.

Maybe try engaging your brain before guessing.
I am sure that London Steak could easily close and have enough funds to wait out the current problems.
But they have considered both their staff who need money to survive and clients who need food when in town on essential errands.
They should be applauded in my opinion.
-
You are obviously one of the ignorant people who value the baht and social interaction, rather than social responsibility. I would tell you to engage your brain, but you need one to do that, so if you can't comment without insults, f&?k off!
-
Like it or not, in these very difficult times, where all our lives are at risk, we should obey the rules and regulations that are constantly emerging. They are quite simple. Basically stay home, except for NECESSARY shopping, limited exercise and travelling to work for those that cannot work at home.
If everyone did just that, there is every likliehood this crisis will be over sooner rather than later.
-
Very true, people just don't get it. My Wife and I are on day 8 of isolation, after returning from Australia and haven't given a thought to breaking the rules. I would love to sit in a restaurant, but kniw that won't happen for some time.
-
I am so sorry alans, please accept this my public apology.
I would not have suggested engaging your brain, had I known I was dealing with an ignorant foul mouthed Australian.
Such a thing is of course not reasonabl to expect.
Your rant about social responsibility and rules was amusing.
It is a pity you chose to mingle with thousands in airports and cram together with hundreds in a plane before your need to isolate kicked in.

I agree, but to clarify, even though I shouldn't have to, our trip to Australia at this difficult time was to spend time with my 90 year old mother for what is likely the last time. The reason to return was so my Wife could continue sole care for her mother, who is a similar age and qujte unwell. The airport we departed from was not busy at all and we had three seats to ourselves, well as empty seats in front and behind and we wore masks and carried hand gel with us the whole trip. We have been isolated since we returned on March 20, have had two visits by the headman and health service doctor and neither of us has dispayed any symptoms. These are the reasons I became a foul mouthed aussie and also because the old man who commented doesn't undetstand social responsibility.
-
Just to clarify...London Steak is not the only restaurant catering to expats that remains open. Jimmy's is also open.
Both are following government advice and guidelines on social distancing.
If you feel this is not to your liking then don't go there. Simple.
You are just as likely to catch this virus traveling on an airplane, regardless of how many passengers there are or if you wear a mask and wash your hands upon entry and exit, or a shopping at a large DIY store as you are in a restaurant. The same as travelling on buses, regardless of where they are heading to or from.
It seems the only way this virus can be stopped 100% and quickly is for every individual to stay home and never go out. Possible but not probable. Look at the problems people are having with that in South Africa and India.
-
First point in attachment, it's law that restaurants can only offer take away orcdelivery!

That is not a quote from Thai law. That is an information bulletin for tourists.
Like I said, both establishments, and other places that remain open that have also been mentioned on here, are following government guidelines.

No need to be flippant.
I used the word "Tourist" as that would usually be whom a directive such as the one you posted would be aimed at.
If you think about things logically, you will realise that both Jimmy's and London Steak are operating in full view of everyone. Nothing underhand is being done. Surely, if they were breaking the law, they would be closed down. They have not been. Simple to understand why.
-
Read it as you will, I couldn't give a flying &???, let's wait for the whinges when they are reported.

-
Another dick head.
-
Personally I think there are several factors to this:-
- Regardless of whether it is law or advice it seems to me that those who choose to keep there restaurants open for customers to sit and dine are putting their own income above what is the sensible thing to do.
- yes it is a requirement that people need to eat but this can be achieved by operating a take-away service only. Grab delivery is cheap. I don?t accept the public service angle being used as a defense.
- we are all bored at home and would all like to go out and socialize over a meal. But.....it isn?t sensible to do so currently.
- Farang restaurant owners should consider the potential impact to all of us, should any Covid 19 cases and real or perceived spread be traced back to their establishment. Why do something to stoke the ?Dirty Farang ?myth. We all have enough challenges living here.

I have not reacted strongly at all.
You are the one using words like "dickhead", "moron" and "ffs".
I merely suggested that, as you do not believe what I say, why not report the restaurant owners to see what happens. If they are breaking the law, as you suggest, they will be shut down and fined heavily. If they are not breaking the law., as I pointed out., they will face no punishment.

I invite you to re-read some of the posts

Dimple Joe,
As an Australian, I do not like to be likened to the character of a loud mouthed Australian. I find that comment unworthy of reasonable debate. If you stick to the debate without bringing nationality into it, would serve your comments better.
Alans, you have reacted by using offensive language as well into your comments which of course continues the negativity.

'foul mouthed Australian' was a statement of fact.

Sweden no lockdown
While swathes of Europe's population endure lockdown conditions in the face of the coronavirus outbreak, one country stands almost alone in allowing life to go on much closer to normal.
But as Swedes watch the rest of Europe grind to a halt, others are starting to question their country's unique approach.
"I think people are prone to listen to the recommendations, but in this kind of critical situation, I am not sure that it's enough," says Dr Emma Frans, an epidemiologist based at Swedish medical university The Karolinska Institute.
Dr Emma Frans says history will be the judge of which politicians and scientists around Europe have made the best calls so far.

Higher temperatures affect survival of new coronavirus, pathologist says
Some have suggested the possibility that weather factors might affect the virus ? particularly the intensity and amount of hours of sunshine as well as heat and humidity. ?Obviously, the virus is something we?ve never dealt with before, but if we look at other viruses ? they all had their peak during the cold season,? said AccuWeather Founder and CEO Dr. Joel N. Myers.
?The statistics all show that they breed and survive longer when it?s cold and dry,? Myers said. ?So, when it?s warmer and more humid and there?s a lot of sunshine, the statistics on all of the others show a virus is less lethal, it spreads less efficiently and less effectively among humans.?
Dr. Joseph Fair, a virologist, epidemiologist and infectious disease specialist, suggested sunshine is a critical factor in subduing the virus.

Thailand reported 127 new coronavirus cases and one death on Tuesday, a health official said.
On Monday the country reported 136 new infections and two deaths.
Tuesday's announcement raises the number of confirmed infections in Thailand to 1,651 since the country's first case was reported in January. Ten people who tested positive for the coronavirus have died.
Bangkok topped the list of confirmed cases with 796, followed by Nonthaburi (79), Phuket (55) and Yala (48), permanent secretary for public health Sukhum Karnchanapimai told a press briefing at the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration.
The centre said 61 provinces have reported virus cases.

New York state sees highest daily jump in Covid-19 deaths, from total of 2,373 to 2,935 ? Governor Cuomo
3 Apr, 2020 15:37 / Updated 8 hours ago
Another 562 people have died of the coronavirus in New York, as the state?s health crisis deepens. Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared people ?are going to die in the near term? due to lack of beds and ventilators in hospitals.
The jump in deaths since Thursday brought New York?s total Covid-19 fatalities to just under 3,000 - just under half of the US? total of 6,558.

The United States has reached yet another dark milestone in the coronavirus pandemic, counting over 1,000 fatalities in the span of 24 hours and shattering the global record for daily deaths as worldwide cases soar past 1 million.
Surpassing both its own one-day record ? broken every day this week ? as well as that of Italy and Spain, the previous world leaders in daily fatalities, the US reported 1,169 new deaths on Thursday evening, according to Johns Hopkins University.

With little sign of the curve flattening, the US has confirmed over 1,300 Covid-19 deaths in a single day, as well as more than 30,000 new cases, as New York City sounds alarms that its hospitals will soon run out of ventilators.
The disease and death tolls in the US continued to grow on Friday with daily tallies bringing the overall figures to 277,953 cases and 7,152 fatalities, according to data collected by Johns Hopkins University. Leading the world in infections, the US outbreak has yet to reach its peak.

Almost 23 Million Thais?One-Third of Nation?Seek Cash Handouts
By
Suttinee Yuvejwattana
April 2, 2020, 5:48 PM GMT+7
One-third of Thailand?s population has registered for government cash handouts designed to soften the blow of the novel coronavirus outbreak, far exceeding the funds available for the policy.
Since registration opened on March 28, some 22.9 million people are seeking to claim the total of 15,000 baht ($455), Lavaron Sangsnit, head of the Finance Ministry?s Fiscal Policy Office, said in a briefing Thursday in Bangkok. The money is due to be paid over three months.
The policy is intended to cover 9 million people at a cost of just over $4 billion, meaning many will be disappointed. Applicants will be screened to find the neediest affected by the virus outbreak who aren?t already covered under the existing social safety net, Lavaron said.

The more I think about this, the more I am convinced we are merely in the grip of mass hysteria.
The media show alarming graphs and statistics but it's all smoke and mirrors.
The comparison between this and the flu pandemics in the past is spurious unless the massive increase in travel is factored in.
Panic means that those who would have died anyway, are stuffed in a bodybag and labeled Covid-19
Without normal post mortems which I doubt happen due to the panic; the death rate is a guess, like most of the figures bandied about by governments.
The conspiracy theorists are having a field day.
Countries, races, groups, companies and individuals are being demonised and the economy is going down the tubes because of the hysteria.
I am 76, diabetic, have heart problems, can hardly walk some days; I smoke, I?m overweight.
When I die it will be because my time has come, my body stopped, not because of Covid-19.
My selfless gesture of donating my body to medical science is wasted; they will have plenty to play with.

I'm an engineer by trade and don't know much about Pandemic but as an engineer I'm capable of logic thinking and know that it's not much I can do with the law of physics.
My question for the governments and medical people are:
- This lockdown how will that help in the future unless we can get down to 0 cases, every new case or existing case is presumably spreading this virus to 2 persons (Ro = 1.5 to 3.5)
- How can we verify 0 cases when many people are walking around with Covid-19 without any symptoms
- If you are to verify 0 cases all people around the world need to be tested at the same time and then be isolated and tested again before released
- My guess is that the governments are trying to slow down the virus to see if they can come up with a vaccine or a medicine that helps if infected, but how long will this take and for all those countries that are under lockdown how long will it last? and when the 2nd wave comes will it then be a new lockdown? Was all this first attempts in wain and how many small business owners was sacrificed and how many normal workers life was destroyed during this test?
Well that was it for now, maybe someone who knows more than me on this topic can enlighten a simple engineer.

Bronx Zoo has announced that one of their big cats tested positive for Covid-19, apparently infected by a caretaker. Three other tigers and three lions developed a dry cough, but are expected to recover.
Our cats were infected by a person caring for them who was asymptomatically infected with the virus or before that person developed symptoms, the Wildlife Conservation Society, which manages the zoo, said in a statement.
We tested the cat out of an abundance of caution and will ensure any knowledge we gain about COVID-19 will contribute to the world's continuing understanding of this novel coronavirus.
The USDA's National Veterinary Services Laboratory confirmed one positive Covid-19 test for Nadia, a 4-year-old female Malayan tiger, but it was unclear if additional test results were pending for other animals.
Nadia, her sister Azul, two Amur tigers, and three African lions had developed a dry cough, and have experienced some decrease in appetite, but were otherwise doing well under constant veterinary care.
While Zoo officials expect the animals to fully recover, they admit that it is ?not known how this disease will develop in big cats? since different species react differently to infections and the incident apparently marks the world?s first officially confirmed Covid-19 case for a tiger.

Coronavirus live updates: Surgeon General, Trump sound alarm as U.S. cases top 300,000
On Sunday, Surgeon General Jerome Adams called on U.S. governors who haven't issued state-wide stay-at-home orders to at least "give us a week" of restrictions, as health officials warn of an accelerating rate of coronavirus cases and deaths. This week is going to be "our Pearl Harbor moment," Adams said.
The warning comes after President Donald Trump said "there will be a lot of death" as the U.S. faces its "toughest week" in the fight against the pandemic.
The total number of coronavirus cases in the U.S. rose to 333,000 on Sunday, with the number of deaths at more than 9,000, according to NBC News' tally. Globally, the death toll is more than 65,000, according to Johns Hopkins University.

Maybe all the mask wearing, social distancing and self isolating will reduce the death rate and spread of TB . I did notice in the Thai Death rate figures for Covid-19 that some of the people that died also had TB ( plus cancer ,diabetes and high blood pressure to name a few ) I guess if you have TB and then get Covid-19 you may as well book the monks .
My Wife had TB years ago and we had to sleep in separate rooms for 6 months whist she was being treated, also I read that 1 out of 5 Taxi drivers in Bangkok has TB. (https://www.thailandmedical.news/news/between-one-out-of-four-to-five-thai-taxi-drivers-have-tuberculosis-tb)

Freddy, to the best of my knowledge you can't buy alcohol anymore, this is what I have been told by a wholesaler and all of the local small shops.
Normally you could buy alcohol from 11am-2pm and 5pm-11pm, I believe it was also early mornings but I forgot what times.

Thanks Mike.
I thought the alcohol selling times had been reduced but as you say, seems total ban now in place. I missed that happening as don?t really drink much at home. Just thought good idea to have a case or 2 here but no drama for me if I can?t.

Wise words.
I fear we are heading in that direction, the world is going crazy.
The hysteria is stoked by the media.
They roll out expert after expert, each with a different theory about the cause of the virus or its eradication.
The headlines conceal the small print - this MIGHT be the cause, or that MIGHT be the cure.
I heard yesterday that it is all a cunning plan by Chinese plastics companies.
Hit by the ban on single use plastic bags, they have switched production to hazmat suits, bodybags etc.
-
Have you checked to see that they actually want your body ? ..... at the appropriate time.....
Dear boy,
I joined the scheme some 7 years ago while attending the heart hospital in Khon Kaen and have carried my card ever since.
At that time they were happy to register me, probably as there were few joining.
Not totally altruistic - the thought of all the pretty young medical students enjoying my body had a certain appeal.
After such a long time their requirements must have changed and I'll likely be disappointed and just shoved into a bodybag with a Covid-19 tag.
I hear there is a 25 percent increase in domestic abuse during the lockdown, have you noticed ?
Not in my house, it seems If I remain respectful, continue to be a good boy and do as I'm told; there is nothing to worry about.

Well . . at least, reduced risk.

The United States has set a new record for its daily mortality count, reporting just shy of 2,000 new deaths in the span of a single day, as fatalities in New York, the country?s top hotspot, and beyond continue to mount.
While stats in recent days appeared to show deaths levelling off, the latest figures gathered by Johns Hopkins University indicate that Tuesday was the deadliest day yet in the US, with some 1,939 new fatalities. New York State has been the greatest contributor to the death toll by far, but the new data shows that deaths are also surging in other states.
New Jersey, second in the nation to New York in both cases and fatalities, reported 232 new deaths on Tuesday, according to Governor Phil Murphy, putting its total at 1,232. The state is still well behind New York?s nearly 5,500 fatalities, but with over 3,300 new cases on Tuesday, its Covid-19 outbreak is continuing apace.
The death toll in Louisiana has also been on a steady rise, seeing its own deadliest day on Tuesday with 70 patients succumbing to the lethal illness, though state officials say they are beginning to see signs that the ?curve? of new infections is flattening.
Though President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the US may soon hit the peak of its epidemic, federal authorities are nonetheless scrambling to distribute much-needed medical supplies to the hardest-hit states, with Trump vowing to have some 110,000 mechanical breathing machines ready to hand out in the coming weeks as companies like Ford and General Motors fast-track their production.

Foreigners in Thailand to receive automatic visa extensions ? official
Thailand approved a plan on Wednesday to allow all foreigners who entered legally to receive automatic visa extensions, according to a senior immigration official. The automatic visa extension has been granted until April 30, according to an Interior Ministry document. Police Lieutenant General Sompong Chingduang told Reuters the government could extend this deadline each month.
The move will prevent long queues at immigration centers and stem the spread of the coronavirus. Thailand has closed its borders and banned entry to foreigners, except diplomats and work-permit holders.
Last week, the government allowed migrant workers with expiring work permits to stay in the country, without the need to apply for extensions, until Thailand reopens its borders.
The country reported 111 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday. In total, Thailand has reported 2,369 cases of the novel coronavirus, and 30 deaths. It has declared a state of emergency until the end of the month and imposed a nationwide 10pm to 4am curfew.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has left the intensive care unit (ICU) of a London hospital where he was moved after his Covid-19 worsened on Monday, his office has said.
Downing Street issued a statement Thursday to say Johnson ?has been moved this evening from intensive care back to the ward, where he will receive close monitoring during the early phase of his recovery.?
The PM was ?in extremely good spirits,? the statement added. Johnson was admitted to hospital on Sunday on the advice of his doctor, more than a week after he was diagnosed with the disease.

I was reading yesterday that in the UK the total deaths have not increased by that much ( compared to last year but previous years the figures have been higher ) ,while deaths due to other causes ( other than Covid-19 ) have suddenly mysteriously decreased. People that have died of say cancer , lower respiratory infection ,diabetes or pneumonia are now being tested and if they have Covid-19 antibodies in their system they are then are added to the Covid-19 death total ( as it's a notifiable diseases ) . Until they find a test for Covid-19 where millions of people can be tested quickly it may be found that millions of people may have contracted the Corona Virus ,had very mild symptoms and have the Covid-19 antibodies in there blood. If someone dies in a car crash and then is tested of Covid-19 and has the antibodies , will Covid-19 be put on the death certificate ?
I'm not saying Covid-19 is not killing people that would be alive if they hadn't caught it..... but the same could be said about many people that have died if they had caught something else like Flu or even just a common cold if they were in ill heath before hand.
As for the lock-downs and alcohol bans here in Thailand ,this will save lives as there is less chance of people dying in a road accident than sitting indoors drinking water .I'm sure Thailand road death toll figures will be reduces over these lock-down months ...so that's a good thing....BUT at what expense. Is the the cure being used worse than the disease...only time will tell ???
I know for a fact that many here in our Village that rely on money being sent home to pay for child care or just daily living expenses has reduced/stopped and people are struggling already. Many of these Villagers live from week to week trying to make ends meet !!

I don?t know. Personally, if I?m not interested in a post I just keep scrolling. FFS it?s just on the web, not in my face. I try to be positive, but sometimes throw in a bit of banter to get things going but it?s only words on a screen. We have all met -insert nationality here - that we don?t get along with. So what? Move on. Scroll on. Shoot, people on here have put me in my place, in their minds, so what? I know most are for gun control, I?ll argue or discuss the matter all day, or over a beer or two. Who cares? But what turns me off to this is direct or implied threats. Threatening over the net implies to me a sense of fear. If you can?t make a point without threats or insults then just F off you retard! - see the irony there, the joke, not directed at anyone at all, just laugh FFS!

Man attempts suicide after not receiving Bt5,000 payment (https://pattayaone.news/man-attempts-suicide-after-not-receiving-bt5000-payment/)
A Buriram man attempted to commit suicide by walking into traffic on Thursday (April 9), after his application for the government?s Bt5,000 Covid-19 welfare payment was not granted.
Police were notified of the incident by a driver, who saw a man walking on the road near the Juvenile Observation and Protection Centre and trying to be hit by a car.
Officers rushed to the scene and found a 25-year-old man, who police referred to as A, crying on the road.
He told them that his wife was unable to make money after the flea market where she worked had been shut down as part of government measures to contain the Covid-19 outbreak.
He explained that he worked on a construction site, but the salary was not enough to raise their 2-year-old child. Stressed because they were unable to make ends meet, the mother and father had begun arguing.
Then, when his request for the Bt5,000 government handout was rejected, he became desperate and suicidal.
Police contacted his wife to take him home and told him that they would try to help him with the issue.

Very sad, but what can you do?
Cannot help everyone.
Stupidly, I asked my wife if we should contribute in some way..... buttslap

Yes , Thailand has very low numbers and as I have pointed out before many of those that have died would have died anyway as they has life threatening illnesses before they died .It could be very possible this is because of the time of the year .In Europe Flu epidemic is normally in the spring and as the countries warm up the epidemic retreat. Maybe this is why Thailand have taken the action it has as they want to get the Covid-19 under control before the normal Flu season starts in the rainy season
From the link below .........Symptoms in children might be different than those in adults. The symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In Thailand, influenza presents year-round, but the incidence is high in rainy season.

The number of people who have died in the US due to Covid-19 climbed to over 40,000 on Sunday, according to calculations by Reuters.
The American death toll is the highest in the world and is almost two times larger than the figures from Italy, which is currently ranked second in terms of fatalities.
The death toll has jumped from 30,000 to 40,000 in just four days after the untested but probable coronavirus fatalities were added to the numbers. The first American succumbed to the coronavirus on February 29.
Italy, which remained the world?s hardest hit country for weeks, has so far recorded 23,660 deaths due to the highly-contagious disease. The US is also the international leader in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases, with more than 744,000 testing positive.
Every death is a tragedy and so far, we in Buriram have been spared the worst of it.

Chinese scientists have found that Europe and America?s East Coast have been infected by some of the most aggressive Covid-19 strains, as they discovered dozens of virus mutations. These destroy a host?s cells faster than others.
The ability of the novel coronavirus to mutate has been previously vastly underestimated, a team from China?s Zhejiang University, led by Professor Li Lanjuan, says in a new study. The group found as many as 33 virus mutations in just 11 coronavirus patients they examined in the city of Hangzhou.
The researchers say that 60 percent of the strains they discovered turned out to be entirely new. In a worrying development, they also discovered that the virus?s mutations directly affect its deadliness. Their research revealed that the most aggressive type of Covid-19 could create a virus load 270 times greater than the least potent one. The 2nd wave of the 1918 flu could kill a healthy young man within 24 hours. This was a fast mutation too.
This is a worrying development and let?s hope the scientists have got it wrong or is it Mother Nature?s way of payback for the human?s destruction of mother earth.

Buri Ram and Chon Buri proceed with May 1st lockdown relaxation (https://www.thaipbsworld.com/buri-ram-and-chon-buri-proceed-with-may-1st-lockdown-relaxation/)
Thailand?s northeastern province of Buri Ram and the eastern coastal province of Chon Buri have separately announced that they will begin relaxing lockdown restrictions on May 1st, citing the improved coronavirus situation in their provinces.
Buri Ram Governor Tatchakorn Hatthathayakul said today there had been 13 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the province, of which ten have recovered, one died and the remainder are still in hospital.
As such, he said the province should reopen so people can resume activities which present a minimal risk of disease transmission, such as flea markets, pedestrian fresh and dried food areas, ready-cooked food vendors and farm produce sellers. Mobile food stalls can also open for business.
The business operators will be required to wear face masks, follow the health guidelines and must display their ID cards, or passports if they are foreigners. The ID cards must bear the ?Buri Ram Healthy? sticker.
All people in Buri Ram, who are over 15 years old, whether they are residents or not, will each be issued with a sticker to be attached to their ID cards or passports.
Anyone leaving the province will have the stickers removed and, upon their return to the province, will have to enter quarantine.
In Chon Buri, Governor Pakkarathorn Thienchai issued an order today easing restrictions imposed on April 9th, citing the improving situation.
The province has reported 86 infections since February 24th, and no new cases were reported today. 2,058 people were placed under medical investigation, 2,037 tested negative for the virus and 21 cases are still pending test results.

We had the same call today, they refused it to put it on my Driving License as I don't have a Pink ID Card (Never bothered to get on) so they put it on my Passport.

I?m in a village Ban Yang district. They came yesterday with my sticker. Wanted to put on my passport but I insisted on my ID or Driving License. Now on ID.
I refuse to carry my passport everywhere in case of damage or loss.
Can you imagine the difficulty if you loose passport now. Go Bangkok, 2 week quarantine come back, 2 week quarantine !!!
Would be forced to use an agent.
-
The sticker and quarantine typical thai Logic.
They love all kinds of documents.
And to Control them - each for several minutes even if they dont understand what they mean or say.
Here in tungwang they plan quarantine people at the local obator.
Normally government say crowding is a no-no, and then they use the crowded obator to lock people up for 2 weeks.
How about keeping safe distance, how about feeding, giving Food, a Place to sleep, toilets and shower.
Desinfection.

The Mrs was told to go and get her health sticker,so we both went but I was told 'farang cannot have' 'only for Thai people'
After insisting that I also need one as I have to travel to Bangkok on Friday for a flight to U K she phoned her boss who confirmed that farang cannot have.
I can imagine the problems I could have with police checkpoints on the way if I didn't have one so insisted further.
Eventually she made a phone call to big boss in Ampur who told her that everyone must have one, stick it on his passport.
It took about 1 hr of arguments for her to begrudgingly stick one on my passport😕

It is not about getting out - go out of Buriram and the sticker should be removed. Coming back you haver the quarantine/isolation factor before you can get a new sticker.
The sticker may be required to access certain places - shops, malls, markets etc.
I suspect the idea will wear thin within a month or so.

From the link I posted ................
Swedish critics are quick to point out how poorly it?s doing compared to its Scandinavian neighbors, Denmark, Norway and Finland. They do this by pointing to the new global bible of public policy ? the World-o-Meter coronavirus running totals ? which for some people is now the end all and be all which it comes to declaring how really, really bad things are, and will continue to be (because that meter just keeps on running).
As of today, Sweden, which has a population of roughly 10.5 million, has recorded 21,092 cases and 2,586 fatalities from COVID-19, that?s roughly 256 deaths per million people.
By contrast, its southern neighbor Denmark which has a population of 5.8 million has recorded 9,1058 cases and 452 fatalities, roughly 78 deaths per million persons. Norway is similar population at 5.4 million, and has recorded 7,738 cases and 210 deaths, that?s 39 deaths per million. Finland has a population of 5.5 million confirmed just 4,995 cases and 211 deaths, with 38 deaths per million.
Critics of Sweden have all seized upon these differences in order to condemn their government for being ?irresponsible? and ?playing Russian roulette? with their citizens? lives. If one didn?t know better from all the hysterical rhetoric, you?d think there was an impending genocide happening there. While these sort of polemic arguments seem to work in the narrow band of reality that are social media threads, the reality is that after scaling up its neighbors? results to be in line with Sweden?s larger population which is roughly twice their size, the difference is statistically insignificant for a country of 10.5 million. They are basically arguing that when comparing Sweden to its neighbor Denmark, that a proportional difference of approximately 1,500 fatalities warrants Sweden closing all its schools and shutting down its entire economy and suffer all the chaos ill effects that goes with that course of action.
To put things in even more perspective, while Sweden has already suffered 2,586 COVID deaths in 2020, back in 2018 there were approximately 6,997 total respiratory disease deaths in Sweden ? and the country?s healthcare capacity was not overrun, nor were any of their public systems stretched to breaking point.
It?s a ridiculous argument on its face, and yet, this is the line of thinking which seems to permeate through lockdown countries desperate to justify their own fatal policy decision.

Correct.... and that why I have said from day one that the venerable , the old and those that have pre existing condition should self isolate. I know its a bit unfortunate that those that show no symptoms can pass it one but isn't that how many illnesses and virus's work. We could save the lives of many venerable people of the world if they were all rapped up in cotton wool but will the lock-down cure be worse than deaths Covid-19 has claimed ? ...And whats next, dothey ban smoking and the sale of cigarettes as we know this kills millions of people or do they ban alcohol as the WHO say that alcohol consumption is responsible for one in 20 deaths globally each year ? .....now the door has been opened and they know people the world over will do as they are told ..whats next in the pipeline :o

Back to the Lockdown news .
I went to do my weekly shopping at TESCO today and as normal I took my own shopping bags and face mask .
Now when you enter TESCO , not only do you have to have your mask on and your temperature checked but now you either have to be registered on an online app on your telephone or write down your contact details on a form as your enter .Plus you must log out when you leave.
I have seen reports they have been doing this in the big Shopping Malls in Pattaya and Bangkok but surly there is no need for all this in a small local Tesco in the back of beyond ???
I always oblige with a smile as there is no point in telling the staff that maybe this is all over the top as they are only doing as they are told
When is all this craziness going to end loco

Even though I think its over top all these precautions I still comply .You never know there could be a million to one chance of catching Covid-19 and dying here in Thailand ....and an email could have warned or saved you .
I only have an internet connection on my phone at home ( wifi ) so I signed in with my email address and name . I did see on one of the forums I read sometimes that some idiot ( thinking he was clever ) said " I sign in as Mickey Mouse (in English) so no-one can read it OR just ignore it all and walk on in. " Well if you are going to sign in why not use your real details ffs.
I have read that some say it a "infringement of civil liberties" or "it's just like 1984" but at the end of the day it is there for everyone's benefit and writing down your name is hardly like wearing an ankle bracelet or being micro chipped....is it :)

The lack of evidence lockdowns actually worked is a world scandal (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/05/28/lack-evidence-lockdowns-actually-worked-world-scandal/?WT.mc_id=tmgliveapp_androidshare_AvYBxbjDm3qR&fbclid=IwAR0wmdPkGoE-3QcZRr52SnpnHa5A_pxWbeqp6MFOduCO9L6yvgTMPxdWigc)
More and more reports coming out like this :o
The lack of evidence lockdowns actually worked is a world scandal
There is still not a shred of real proof that the planet's reckless stay-at-home experiment made any difference
We have detonated the global economy to pursue a lockdown experiment that may not have worked, according to the latest evidence. This diabolical revelation should be a world scandal. It should also be a sobering moment of enlightenment for Britain, as we seek to salvage our economy while learning lessons on how to better protect the vulnerable. Instead the Covid narrative becomes ever more surreal.
The broadcast media is more interested in scalping lockdown flouters than questioning whether shutdowns have served any useful purpose. World-class studies that suggest lockdown did not alter the pandemic?s course are mysteriously vanishing into internet obscurity on first contact with the official narrative. Our greatest minds have resorted to unpicking the issue on offbeat YouTube webinars. No global NGO or lockdown country has launched an investigation into their impact.
This is a scandal so overwhelming that there is only one good place to start: the evidence as it stands. In accordance with pro-lockdown theory, if stay at home orders worked, you might have expected to see daily deaths spike 3-4 weeks after such measures were implemented. (Studies estimate Covid has a symptom-free incubation period of rougly five days, and fatalities typically die 2-3 weeks after showing symptoms.) But, in Britain, infections may have peaked a week before lockdown, according to Prof Carl Heneghan of Oxford University, with daily deaths in hospitals plateauing a fortnight after it was introduced. We are not an anomaly: peak dates across Europe also seem to confound the official theory.
Don?t just take my word for it. A University of the East Anglia study posits that Europe's ?stay-at-home policies? were not effective. A JP Morgan investigation suggests the virus ?likely has its own dynamics? which are ?unrelated to often inconsistent lockdown measures?. But such insights have failed to induce even the vaguest quiver of serious mainstream debate.
Nobel prize-winning mathematician Michael Levitt has fared little better, despite his valiant one-man effort to expose the inconvenient truth about Covid numbers. He has claimed, sensationally, that the modelling that justified lockdown made the fatally incorrect assumption that Covid-19?s spread is continuously exponential. In fact, his research has found an uncanny pattern across numerous countries whereby the virus grows exponentially for two weeks, before slowing seemingly irrespective of lockdown and social distancing measures.
In a more sensible world, such findings might stir thoughtful debate about whether Covid was burning out naturally before lockdowns began. It might also prompt a global effort to put other pieces of the puzzle together ? for example, establishing whether there is a correlation between countries with high death rates and countries that failed to protect care homes. (They make up half of fatalities in Belgium, which has suffered the worst Covid death toll per capita).
But as the holes in Project Lockdown multiply, its advocates flap incoherently to keep their theory afloat. Not least in Britain, where the goal of lockdown lurches from ?flattening the curve? to staving off a ?second wave? ? to, apparently, averting the first wave?s ?second peak?. But if the UK?s hunger for second wave speculation has proved insatiable, the raw data is disappointingly bland: with countries across Asia, Europe and beyond opening up, the only countries experiencing material second waves are... Iran and Djibouti, where data lacks reliability to say the least.
The poorest look set to pay the highest price for lockdown hysteria: while half of people on ?10 per hour face the sack, deprived areas in the North are predicted to be the worst hit by soaring joblessness. Meanwhile, in Italy, industrial jobs collapse and Spain?s endemic poverty spirals into an existential calamity.
Such too is the tragic arc of Covid-19?s story in the global south, where following in the West?s footsteps could yet ravage the vulnerable. Take Brazil. Western media?s relentless narrative that the country is gripped by an unprecedented coronavirus catastrophe because President Bolsonaro has been belligerently sceptical of lockdown is misleading. In fact, with deaths per million still five times lower than in Britain, and an economy weeks from total collapse, there is perhaps time yet for the West to lead a humanitarian effort to help Brazil and other Latin American countries.
We should be doing everything we can to help them isolate their vulnerable, placing them in Covid-free facilities if necessary, while the healthy carry on. Instead the WHO, in its disgraceful 25 May press conference, effectively sold poorer countries a defeatist half-truth: in the absence of ?tremendous capacities? for measures like track and trace, their only hope is full-scale lockdown.
Which brings us to the central reality of this crisis, almost too horrific to consider: that the truth will out when it?s all too late. Is that now really the best we can hope for?

Air Asia has announced that they will start flying between Bangkok and Buriram in Northeastern Thailand from Monday 1st June 2020. They will fly four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and return to Bangkok on the same days.
* It is your responsibility to find out in advance if your destination has quarantine or not. There are also some destinations that do not allow foreigners who don?t live or work there. I have heard from some people who were refused boarding even though they had a valid ticket. Sadly the airlines don?t seem to be helping much. They just seem keen to sell you the tickets.

I wouldn't worry about it A Smithy (nearly used your real name then but I have more decorum). You know what he is like. Most people that know him know what he is like. Those that know both of you know exactly what he does and why he does it.
He has tried it with many people and it usually back fires on him. He tried to take the piss out of me for ordaining, it back fired. Many times, when my wife owned BuriramPieMan, he tried to undermine things, it backfired. Most times he has had a go at you it has back fired. Remember he used to try and spread rumours that you were poor and could not go out anywhere? Well....who is now retired and enjoying life and who is working????Huge backfire.
I could go on but won't. The truth is that when one lies they have to remember what they lied about. Nobody needs to remember the truth as that is what it is. Time to move on. Let him dig his own grave, he hardly needs help.
Anyway...LOCKDOWN. Any news on the alcohol ban?

Yes .....he's always Doxing me ( Doxing for those that dont know means is to publish private or identifying information about (a particular individual) on the Internet, typically with malicious intent. ) I always though people used Nicks so they could remain anonymous if they wished .He would be the first to be up in arm if I or someone posted his real name , address and telephone number ( all things he has done to me in the past ) on internet forums . This is done by someone that is a Moderator and Admin on SF , someone that should know better chairhit
I think he thinks he is being clever , but it just makes him look a bigger c**** then he is already , he's just to stupid to realize it
