The Drought is Over
A week or so ago local Surin westerners were having to come to Buriram for a shower and drilling wells as they had no water........now floods and the local Northern Surin Reservoirs are full and over flowing !!
Whether the weather be fine,
Or whether the weather be not,
Whether the weather be cold,
Or whether the weather be hot.
We'll weather the weather,
Whatever the weather,
Whether we like it or not!

Good news for Surin. The reservoirs just south of Lahansai in Buriram were still extremely low just two weeks ago. There has been some steady rain here the last couple of weeks but I think we will need a bunch more wet weather before they are close to full capacity. Restoring the water table will also likely take a bit more time with a lot more rain.
It is good that the rains finally came to our areas.
