I spent a lot of time looking for a rental in Buriram. During that time I found nothing with less than a 6 months contract.

Exactly 99.9% are asking 6 months more..............but i did find a place by month but the price are crazy..

What exactly are you expecting to be part of the house package?
- Beds
- Stove
- Refrigerator
- Kitchen items (pots, dishes, silverware)
- Washer
- TV
- linens
- other
In long term rentals people can be expected to provide the above for themselves. Another issue can whose name will be on power and water? My guess is that it remains in owner's name and you would pay rent + utilities.
We have a 3 bedroom home with covered car park about 10 km from the stadium that is available, but are not sure it is worth the hassle.

Usually when we rent for the winter in the Eastern seaboard, there bed.tv.fridge,.....and we visit the family near Prakon Chai for a short period 2-3 weeks, but this year would like to stay in Buriram for the winter...are option is more limited as i can see...

So if I am understanding you, If we provide 1 bed, a TV, and a refrigerator that will meet all your requirements and you will provide all else (e.g., sheets, towels, kitchen ware, TV Cable, etc.)? Because it's a house there is some required lawn maintenance which you would be responsible.

I doubt one bed will do it. The first post asks for 2 bedrooms.

No argument, however when asked for specifics he said "bed" singular. The amount of furnishing that have to be provided has an impact of the pricing. I have a sparsely furnish house that met the requirements of the last renter. Taking a long term rental to use as a short term requires changes, the greater the hassle in meeting short term requirements the less likely we will accept.
Furthermore by accepting a reservation for Dec - Apr the home is effectively off the market for long term rental for almost a year.

I?d suggest that direct contact between Urleft and the renter may be the best way forward.
