I asked the IO the question ,if I went to Bangkok and stayed at a private house what do I and the house owner need to do and he said the house owner in Bangkok needs to report your stay and I need to report back when im back in Buriram Hmmmm?
And if you didn't who would know

This whole TM30 is just a teamoney making exercise for local Immagration offices. TM30's were only supposed to be used for Hotels ,guesthouse's and long term renters. For 15+ years I or my wife has never filled one out even though I was on an Marrage extention for 12 of those years, have had home visits from Immigration ,4-5 police visits plus handed my details into the Village headman 2 or 3 times .
I did read that Phuket Immagaration were turning people away when trying to report and was told to do it online, even though their site was not working.
Like most laws/rules in Thailand they are only upheld when it suits
