Parachute drop in Nong Ki
« on: July 04, 2009, 12:09:36 PM »
Just how do the Thai's manage it??????????
Yesterday a very big parade ,the highlight of which was a parachute drop from a helicopter by the Air Force.
Well true to tradition they arrived about 45 minutes later than scheduled.............The helicopter managed to climb a couple of thousand feet, then disgorged the parachutists, two of whom managed to touch down nearly half a mile from the designated area & had to be retrieved by ambulance .........................I hate to think where they would have ended up if they were jumping from a decent altitude!!!!!!!!!!!
