house and wall build in prasat

Now we are local again in Prasat ,we start the house on the 20th of next month but we build the wall first .
This house will sit on 6-MT long pile footings (land soft and muddy).
Here are some pictures its been a wet start.

If I count the stones of the wall correctly the height of the wall is around 2 meters. Is that your standard height or has it s special reason to make it high like this.

I'm not an engineer (so maybe a stupid question), are the iron bars for the roof construction ?

Walls and steel pictures , We are using the original Q-Con blocks (the best IMO)- cavitys on all external walls as you can see all tied into the columns and walls  tied together  .

cavity walls will be cooler and also has the nicer look with hard wood window sills and reveals  rather than flat flush windows and walls most builders make .
