Nighthawk M1 Wifi Dongle
«

Hi Guys
I have a Nighthawk M1 Wifi Dongle here with Telstra and my plan doesn't cover Thailand so I will need to get a temporary sim card when I get there next week.
I am looking for fast unlimited pre paid data for 15 days.
I will be using it for watching Foxtel etc so it needs to be reliable and fast.
Any suggestions?

One question first:
Will your Telstra Wifi Dongle allow it to put in another sim from a different provider ? Is it Sim Lock free ?

Oke there are very few options available for unlimited prepaid
These are the ones from Dtac
https://www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/products/net-no-limit.html
With 10Mbps for 7 days costing 199 THB (ex VAT) BUT this one automatically renews 52 weeks, so you better take the daily one at 39 THB per day (ex VAT)
These are the ones from 12call
http://www.ais.co.th/one-2-call/addon/en/nonstop.html
(No idea if they are auto renewal as I am a Dtac subscriber)

One additional remark !
Even if you get the highest speed available be prepared to have some buffering as the speeds advertised are the speeds WITHIN Thailand.
I have 10Mbps with my WiNet and Dtac 10Mbps as backup but when watching ipTV from abroad I get buffering issues from let's say 4pm-11pm (Thai Time) because of many people using the Net.
But YMMV.
