Another Aussie
« on: July 10, 2017, 05:22:06 PM »
Hi Guys
Thanks for the acceptance into Buriram Expats.

I am escaping a long relationship back home and hope to settle in Buriram with my new girlfriend. Early days but going to give my best shot.

I retired early following the sale of my business and I am a keen golfer. So I will be looking for some traveling companions as I understand golf is very limited in Buriram.

I got the nickname from a Kiwi mate because of my shape i.e. A beachball with legs.

I am looking forward to my next adventure.

Cheers
Beachball

Welcome Beachball.
Not a golfer myself but believe that many members are.
Hope everything goes well for you. Enjoy your new way of life in Buriram.

Welcome Beachball to the Land of Smiles. I hope all your days in Buriram will be good ones.  Are you related to keg on legs, a good mate of mine?

Hi Beachball,

Welcome to Buriram mate, Not sure which part of Buriram you're moving to but find your way to Paddy's Irish Bar. Theres a heap of great blokes in the social golf club there. I think they play 2 days a week (or more) and they do some travelling around as well. They will look after your for sure. Might catch you there for a beer. I'm there in Sept for 4 weeks.

regards

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I arrive in Buriram 19 Jul for a week and try and find my feet. Then planning on being back mid Aug. I hope to catch up for a beer and chat.

Cheers and go the Blues tonight.
