I'm writing this thread to recommend an excellent dentist in Surin Isan. Her name is Dr Air and she does the morning shift from 9am to 11am everyday at Ruampaet hospital. If you call the switchboard you can schedule appointments outside of this time.
Dr Air is a General Practitioner dentist and does everything from fillings to implants, crowns, dentures and complex root canal / impacted tooth. She recently did an emergency reversible pulpitis on a friend of mine and I can assure you that he recovered well and was very happy with her services.
In the past few years she's been called to 2 different clinics to remove retained roots on patients where the less experienced dentist needed help. This recently happened where the dentist tried to work on the problem for close to 2 hours. By this time the patient had severe pain and swelling on the tooth. Dr. Air was called in and successfully performed root canal treatment. A similar thing happened about a year and a half ago when Dr Air received a call at 830pm and had to attend a private clinic to finish remove roots that the dentist needed help with.
She also has considerable experience with paediatric dentistry- in particular preventive & therapeutic oral health care for children. She has a kind heart and nice nature with children and uses her own techniques to help them if they are anxious and/ or worried.
Dr Air is currently undertaking her orthodontics training (part time) and will be starting her Masters in Science- specialized orthodontics in 2018 in Germany (part time).
Dr Air treats most of the farang living in Surin as she is one of the only dentists that speaks fluent English.
