Passion Delivery
« on: February 01, 2017, 10:11:18 PM »

I can recommend Passion Delivery for some products, their website is:

http://www.passiondelivery.com/

The Wagyu is excellent, well worth getting
The aged burgers are super (got a report that the Hickory was lessor)
The Lasagna is very good
The T-Bones are OK, but I would not recommend them.  Heard the same about the Ribeyes.
The Prime Rib is super, the Tomahawk and Cote De Beouf are well worth getting

Note that the items are pricey, but I don't mind paying a premium for good food.

I have no affiliation with Passion Delivery, but I have ordered twice and will continue, as I said the Prime Rib is worth it.

They are indeed very pricey.......eg The Xmas Turkeys at nearly 700 baht/kilo plus delivery.
I was selling the exact same birds at 475 baht/kilo!!

Yes, you offer a better value on some items, for example that first set of T Bones I got from you was very comparable in quality to what I got from PD, and at a much lower cost.

IMO the Thai rib eyes are the best by some considerable distance, wheras The T Bones & striploin can be hit & miss without 1st marinating them.

The name of the company should give it away. The price of that beef you bought is nothing but extortion. Find the source and pay far less.

Everyone has to make a profit. Some items that we sell are sourced and marked up a little, but the prices from Passion are quite extortionate.

But their sausages are only 590 Baht a kilo.

(obviously that price does not include delivery)

There is certainly a market (especially around Bangkok) for over-priced, 'designer' foods. It is a status thing.

I remember several people (in the old days) only buying their groceries from M & S because they wanted the M & S label  -  and that was way before M & S became more sensibly priced.

Delivery is fairly cheap, shipped in Styrofoam with dry ice.  Over 10,000 baht and shipping is free, around 7000 baht it is 190. Basically one day shipping through a company called Kerry.
