We have a saying in the US, "Be careful what you ask for, you might just get it"

Facts make an interesting thread not ridicule, nastiness and immature sarcasm which is now evolving on this subject between some members.

I would not mind if I got my wish urleft, I go to the US less and less each year, which suits me fine. I have a Visa which is my 3rd (totaling 20 years), and each time I had to go for an interview at the US Embassy.
I have entered the US probably in excess of 50 times  Yet when I enter I am ALWAYS pulled aside for a secondary inspection (average time of detention 1 hour), the reason they give is because I am a seaman. Well yes, US Immigration I am holding a seamans visa. Makes no sense., especially when most of the immigration officers struggle to speak English.

I didn't report anything about the thread, but I completely agree with Dimple Joe's, and other negative comments, concerning it.

Trump gave his 1st speech to congress, you can hear it here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S02SNC8xpzU

Wow, I think he did a very good job.  However, I do think he would have been better served weasel wording some things like the 94 million out of the work force based on Obama's policies.  While I believe he was correct, it is sometimes best not to lay blame, even if deserved.

But what is really worth watching is his speech at the Governors' Ball.  Terry McAuliffe, GOV Virginia and president of the Governors' association got up and laid out common ground issues.  Those should be at the forefront of Trump's agenda as most seemed like the Donald's campaign promises.

But Nancy cannot find anything she can work with Trump.

Delivery and method not withstanding, I thought a good speech to congress. Some of that needed in the UK.

Well the US Media and Dems are going Batsh!t that the Attorney General Sessions did not disclose his meetings with the Russian Ambassador while he was a US Senator, of course this could be because he was not asked that question.   No Al Franklin did not ask that, he specifically asked about Trump campaign contacts, not senate contacts.

But the dems are calling for Sessions to resign and a special prosecutor be assigned.  I hope Trump calls a press conference and appoints a special prosecutor into Russian interference in US Politics.  It should start with the US Secretary of State allowing 20% of US Uranium being sold to Russia, and the corresponding "donations" to the Clinton Foundation.

And Trump may just do that, he is already tweeting Nancy about her saying she never met with the current Russian Ambassador:

Woooo, looks like Trump just blew the fake Russia scandal out of the water.  He is accusing Obama of a Watergate level scandal by US Government wiretapping Trump Tower during the campaign.

Of course the MSM is saying there is no evidence, funny how that standard did not apply to supposed Trump Russian connection.

This may be the first time I actually agree with Nancy Pelosi on anything.  Too bad she refused to abide by that standard when she was in charge:

From Nancy in the letter to Speaker Ryan:

    Dear Speaker Ryan,

This week, the Committees on Energy & Commerce and Ways & Means will be marking up Republicans? long-feared bill to dismantle affordable health care.  The GOP legislation will have life or death consequences for tens of millions of families across America, and extraordinary impacts on state and federal budgets long into the future.

The American people and Members have a right to know the full impact of this legislation before any vote in Committee or by the whole House.

Hypocrisy is thy name.

Now as opposed to the Obaminites way of doing things and creating Government jobs, the Trump effect is focused on private sector jobs, which means more taxpayers not funded by the US Government:

Private Sector Reports Stronger-Than-Expected Boost to Payrolls in March

Private payrolls across the nation rose by 263,000 last month

https://www.wsj.com/articles/private-sector-reports-stronger-than-expected-boost-to-payrolls-in-march-1491397601

Companies added 263,000 jobs for the month, ADP and Moody's Analytics said. That was well above the 185,000 expected from economists surveyed by Reuters and also better than the 245,000 reported for February.
