What to do for New year i buriram?

Hi!

I'm looking for for something to do in the Buriram aria for New Year. We are located in Phutthaisong, so anything around there, or in Buriram would be of interest.

Cheers,

Ulf

Plonk yourself down in front of the village shop and order a bottle of Hong Tong. That won't be boring.
I intend to stay home until Wednesday if possible.

As I mentioned, IMobile seems to be setting up something.

But I concur with Davu, stay home.  Not only will there be a lot of drunks out, the population and traffic has significantly increased.

Beware of Urleft in his car too. He seems to have some problem with the process.

Wolf - If you do go into Buriram maybe Paddys Bar, Bamboo Bar or Jimmys worth a look. I'm sure other ex-pats will be out and about at those venues.

Then there the big Thai Bar/pub in the Speed disco area plus loads of smaller bars that will have bands on.

Speed Nightclub would be my choice for the thrillseekers.

This is the way to see out the year ...........

1 - go deaf from the 1,000,000 watt speakers
2 - go blind from unadulterated perving at acres of curvacious Isaan flesh
3 - get smashed drinking whatever someone puts into your hands
4 - get fleeced by the sardine like crowd groping your nether regions
5 - get a roaring hard on, but you forget why exactly (see #2 and #4 above)
6 - jump off the mezzanine balcony, then crowd surf to the front stage
7 - have five hundred 19yo's calling you "hansum"
8 - get special privileges because you're 50 years older than 99.9% of the crowd
9 - gulp down some suspicious pills someone gave you to "stay awake till midnight"
10 - jiggle and wiggle with 100 lithe young women young enough to be your grandaughter
11- have a mild heart attack when the fireworks go off at midnight

What a way to see in the New Year ....

1 - wake up in the public ward at Buriram Hospital
2 - check your wallet and wonder how you managed to spend 9000 baht

Happy New Year guys. Have a good one.
