WW2 Quiz (1)
« on: October 20, 2016, 09:22:49 AM »
Most of us are old enough to have some knowledge of what happened in WW2.

Attached to this post is a little quiz to keep the brain active. It's printable on A4 size paper.

Many questions will probably require some help from Mr Google. Didn't want to make it too easy  5555

Answers will be posted here in about 1 week. Happy Googleing lads.

Question 10 was very interesting to me, coming from Huntsville Alabama we have the Wernher Von Braun Center.  He (and his follows) ended up in Huntsville after the war.  A lot of stuff is named for him, especially on the Army Installation of Redstone Arsenal.

Thanks mahdam. I enjoy compiling these quizzes, and I also learn a lot whilst researching the questions. WW2 in particular is one of my favourite "hobbies" (?) and I had a vast collection of non fiction books about WW2 back in Australia. Gave the lot to the Salvo's when I moved to LOS.

Thanks Keith. He was an extremely lucky guy to survive Nazi Germany, particularly late in the war.

Anyway guys ..... answers to the quiz in 2 days time.
