Nong Bua Kok 'Folks Museum'.
« on: November 13, 2015, 11:59:33 AM »
I have been meaning to put a plug in for this place for a year or two.
The lady in charge seems slightly eccentric but she is constantly renewing, innovating and generally doing interesting stuff. We bought two nice pots this morning and she showed us a spectacular climbing plant in bloom, insisted in giving us a seedling as well as another one called Mickey Mouse apparently.. I showed my wife a hanging Euphorbia (not the one you think) and she gave us some cuttings. Gave us advice also.
She has many nice plants, a small museum with old fashioned rat traps and fish traps on show, and deserves some custom.
She is planning to open a restaurant.
Anyway, good for an hour or two walking around in the shade.

This is a very nice place for a visit, not too long as the OP states, but it's very interesting.

I could place some more pictures if the OP wants me to do (I do not want to highjack his thread).

Here are, as promised, some pictures.

As I am unable to add all pictures at once I will post them one by one. Sorry....

Have fun.
