Robinson Lifestyle Center Shopping Mall in Buriram was full today but good for junk food restaurants and little other stores, the supermarket is a joke because very expensive I prefer to continue to go to Big C, Makro and night market !

I'm a TESCO's shopper myself.  :)

Picked up a few bargain today in fact.  Large Box of Coffee-mate at 107 Baht ,Tesco's Tuna in brine at 31 Baht a tin,Carrots 21 Baht a kilo and Campbell's cream of chicken soup on the bargain shelf at only 32 Baht a can ;)
I like Cambell's cream of chicken soup and have trouble getting it where I live! Which TESCO's was that??????

Which TESCO was that Jackie ?

I haven't seen them in Prakhonchai.

The breakfast in a can looks a winner......

Why would I be asking for its source, if I already had enough?  loco
Clearly you are all to busy to answer a simple clear question. There was I thinking this forums mission statement was 'Expats helping Expats'
Obviously I was wrong.

Once again the modus operandi is to make this a miserable place to visit.
Farewell

First visit to Buriram Robinsons this morning. 11am easy parking undercover. Was quite impressed with the complex.

Jazz had a ball in Tops. Like a big kid in a lolly shop 555. When you're accustomed to Taweekits and BigC, the produce on offer in Tops was excellent. Found many items I've not seen before in Buriram. Managed to fill a shopping trolley ... having originally gone in "just for a look"   555

Thank God the trolleys are small.

I'm going to have to buy some clothes without pockets, so I can use that wonderful phrase "no babee ... I not have money ... I not have pockets"

Anyway ... Robinsons is great. Can see us doing a lot of grocery shopping in Tops.

We made it out there today.  We also filled a cart at Topps.  TW was loving finding all the things she got used to in her years in the US.  Still couldn't find hamburger dill pickles, though.

We also shopped in several other stores, had lunch at Jeffers and picked up some pizza company take out.

Great addition to Buriram!  And, as others have mentioned, when we stopped at Makro to pick up some SMG Lite, we walked straight up to a register, no waiting.

I consider the Topps here superior, I was there today and they had real chocolate chips to make cookies, wow, first I've seen here.  Once I get my oven installed I plan to bake some.

Comparing the Topps here with Surin I would say Surin is in 2nd place in all categories except for the meat.  Surin has a nice meat area (especially Beef).

Also, as usual the price for a case of Leo (can and bottle) is the same as Makro and Big C.  But Topps takes credit cards to make purchases easy.
