Interesting posts.

Interesting because I have been continuously told by immigration that I can only extend once per entry.

The Non O multi is indeed only 5000 baht. It may be worth looking at that for your next entry. You are likely at or near to the time that you will be refused entry without a visa.

Is it the office of Chok Chai you talking about or other ?

The topic is about Kap Choeng and to the best of my knowledge the Immigration office for Buriram is Kap Choeng and not Chok Chai as it used to be.

Kap Choeng is on the way to Cambodia and near Prasat and it is indeed In Surin province, but it's also the Immigration office for Residents from Buriram.

Yes it is not near by any standards but to the best of my knowledge, if you live in Buriram you have to go there and can't go to Korat even if it's closer, but I could be wrong and another member will for certain correct me if I am.

Ps: Welcome to BE Expats

For what reason, if you wish to tell, are you going? It may determine which office you could use.

Look at your "enter before" date first. Do you have time to extend by 30 days and then leave and activate the second entry?

I can not use my 4-months with double-entry visa because I have to go back to France early September and my visa for 2 months expires August 7.
I seek the most economical solution pay 30 days extension or make a run boarding in Cambodia since Buriram !

Do you mean that the stamp you received in your passport on entry to Thailand is dated 7th August?

If so then the choice is yours.

A border run will cost you 1800 baht and a page and a half in your passport. You will get 60 days.

An extention at immigration will cost 1900 baht, with only one small stamp, and is good for 30 days. Either can be done on 7th August.

Correct if you live in Buriram you can't go to korat found that out the hard way 2 hr drive to be told have to go to kap choeng went today to get my extension thus time they gave me 90 days straight up for family visit 1900 baht unlike last time 2 separate visa pay twice  while I was there a bloke from Turkey was getting his visa extension but to his surprise they told him he had to go out before he could do it so no deal for him hr was worried about going out at chong chom so immigration rang them for him and told him all sorted go out come back get your extension also asked if next time I fly to singapore and come back 5 hours later will I get 30 days or 15 they told me 30 days cause it's not a land crossing
