I doubt if it's swampland but just ordinary farmland (I doubt a Farmer will let his cows walk around in swampland)

That is rather cheap in my Opinion.
If I were  you I would ask 5.000.000 per rai at least. Such beautifull land, next to a temple and a school.

If it is the land that I think it is, it is in a great location. There is not a location along there where there is no development. There is land nearby for sale, and being sold, for double that price.

I don't think so.   When I first read the post I would have bought it unseen for 2.8 Mil baht and paid them on Monday. 

But when I realized they were talking per rai, I asked for clarification. 

The Big C area is expanding, this could be good investment land.  While I don't know the exact location it appears to be between the racetrack and Big C.  I would expect Newin to take it.
