Hi freddy,

Thanks a lot for thinking about this, but

You are a wee bit too late. I got a PM from another member and went and bought the Hitachi Fridge I wanted in Surin today, they are delivering it on Tuesday.

I also bought (in the same store) a small Mitsubishi for a neighbour(as she helps us a lot)  as her fridge is as old as .....

I bought the Televisions (1x 32" 1x 48" and 1x 55")  at PowerBuy in Surin. Unfortunately they didn't have any Siemens Washing machine on show so we have to go look for that one.

Tomorrow we will vist Macro and look at the Chest Freezer.

Glad you got the things you wanted. Quite a shopping spree!
Funnily enough, I was also in Makro today and having previously suggested it may be worth a look for the Chest freezer and having just seen the fridge at Home-pro, I had a look. I was actually quite surprised at how few they had and also those that were on show were quite small. That was the Buriram store. I'm sure they used to stock more. I'm guessing you may come away disappointed.

If anyone else is interested, I have bought my Fridge(s) here (Note: they are in Surin)

http://tntsurin.com

The have a lot of brands but for fridges they seem to have only Hitachi and Mitsubishi.

Aircons they have alot, they even have the "new" R-32 Diakin Smart Inverters (I will get these for the house) with seperate prices for either incl or excl installation, but the owner warned me that they can't fix the inverter air-cons locally (if there is a problem) but have to send them to Bangkok to get them fixed.

Disclaimer: not my store or affiliated in any way, just a happy customer (Thanks Tom)

Got my 22Q Hitachi Fridge delivered today, extremely Happy. The fridge is at the moment in "storage" at my BIL's house until my house is ready (another 2+ weeks). And when it's ready I will post some pictures as I can't resize them (on iPad and the pictures are way bigger then 1200k)

Re: Washing Machine,

Talked to HomePro Buriram about the Siemens Washing Machine and they will order it and it will be here in about 1 week.

The only thing left to buy is the Chest Freezer. Tomorrow back to Buriram and will check out that place near Bamboo bar

Thanks guys for all the helpful pointers

Edit: Found a way to attach / resize ;)

Looks nice :-)

Yeah it's really nice and we are really happy that we finally have one, but Wait till you see the pictures when the fridge is in its definitive location ;)

In contradiction what people think that this fridge must use a lot of Electric, you are wrong. Look here

http://labelno5.opr.egat.co.th/appdata/labelno5/product/en/103/r-s600gp2th

As you can see it only uses approx 1488 THB in electricity a year that is 120+ THB  a month. Compare that with a fridge which is a lot smaller like http://labelno5.opr.egat.co.th/appdata/labelno5/product/en/3458/r-t230w-2

And you see that one use 1405 THB per year which is 110+ THB per year.
